For background information, I have oily skin, and suffer from hormonal cystic acne, which takes forever to heal, and leaves me with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, also known as, PIH.  Depending on the weather and time of year, my skin can become hypersensitive.

The Naruko Taiwan Magnolia Brightening and Firming Vitamin K Eye Cream EX claims to remove dullness around the eye, by lightening the area of skin where we tend to get dark circles, and reverse skin aging through the use of nourishing moisturizers and plant-based peptides.

This isn't a very heavy cream. Since I don't experience dry, crepy skin around my eyes, I don't need to use a heavy eye cream. Even with my new acne medication, since my skin is so oily, it hasn't dried the skin around my eyes too much, where I'd need a heavy eye cream to provide moisture. In the past, heavy eye creams have caused milia, which are small, slightly hard, white bumps clustered around my eyes. Milia either is removed through consistent chemical and physical exfoliation, or extractions performed by a professional. Oftentimes, extracting milia is a very painful process. Since I've had to have some milia extracted before, I tend to avoid very heavy creams for my face. Thankfully, this product hasn't caused any milia to develop in my eye area!

I use this eye cream at night only, because it makes my already super oily eye area, much more oily. For such a light cream, it provides so much moisture! I tend to get dark circles under my eyes if I don't get enough sleep, or I work too much. However, even with somewhat consistent use of this product, I don't notice a dramatic difference, so I still need to apply concealer in the mornings. I have very, very fine lines around my eyes, only because I tend to sleep on my side very often, and occassionally sleep on my stomach. I also have a very bad habit of rubbing my eyes when they get really tired, or from wearing my glasses for so long. But I haven't noticed that this eye cream has softened any of the fine lines around my eyes.

The Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask claims to balance and reduce excess oil production in your skin, treat acne problems, and prevent acne from further developing. This is the best sheetmask in my collection! I've used this sheetmask several times now, and each time it amazes me at how quickly my skin responds to it.

This is a black sheetmask. It doesn't state on the Naruko website, but black sheetmasks usually get their color by infusing charcoal in the mask material. Charcoal is a great ingredient for those with oily, acne-prone skin, to deeply clean clogged pores. Right away, you'll notice the peppermint scent, and the very faint tea tree oil scent. I love it! It really relaxes me, especially with the cooling sensation from the peppermint. The mask fits great, like what you'd expect from My Beauty Diary or My Scheming sheetmasks, where it almost covers my entire eye area, and easily hugs the curves of my face. The mask stays moist for at least 35 minutes, and there's always a nice palm full of essence leftover for my neck and décolletage. Upon removing the mask, I definitely notice my breakouts look a lot less red, and not warm or painful to touch. Once the remaining essence absorbs into my skin, my face looks matte, and feels velvety smooth. But what's important is the results the very next day! My angry acne spots have significantly reduced in size, and my face feels soft.

I bought the Benton Box from Memebox USA on March 2016, and used the contents of that box consistently for 2 months straight.  The Benton Snail Bee High Content Lotion started off great for my skin.  It didn't leave my face looking too greasy, more of a dewy look, as it provided just enough moisture for my skin to prevent over-producing sebum.  This only took 2-3 pumps of product.  It didn't initially cause any issues for my very picky skin, and I enjoyed that it has no scent, as I'm sensitive to strong scents.

But when summer started, and the high temperatures and dry heat of Southern California kicked in, I couldn't use this moisturizer much.  Even 1 pump of product seemed too much for my skin, because my face would look very shiny.  However, I found success with diluting 1 pump of the lotion, with 1 pump of the Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin.  It worked well enough, but when I'm in a rush in the morning to get ready for work, I would often just reach for a gel moisturizer instead.

I tried using this lotion as a hand lotion, like I did with the Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream, but found that it leaves my skin a bit sticky and tacky, which was especially unpleasant on the palms of my hands.

I would recommend this moisturizer for all skin types, but those with oily skin like mine, may find this too much when the weather is too hot.

I bought the Benton Box from Memebox USA on March 2016, and used the contents of that box consistently for 2 months straight.  The Benton Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream did absolutely nothing whatsoever for my acne or PIH.  In fact, since it was so rich and heavy in consistency, it made my face look greasy, and I actually broke out from this.  I only used this cream at night, and within the week I've been using it, it broke me out and I had to discontinue its use.

The reason I'm giving it 3 hearts though, was that I used it as a hand cream, and it worked out really nicely that way.  I'm a bit of a germaphobe, so I wash my hands often, and use hand sanitizer very often as well.  Therefore, my hands get dry and cracked easily, and this helped with moisturizing it.  It was pleasant to use, because there's no scent, which is great for those who are sensitive to scents, and it didn't leave my hands feeling greasy or sticky, it actually absorbed into my hands very quickly.

I would recommend this for people with much drier skin, who are not acne-prone, as I feel that it can clog your pores easily because of how heavy it is.  But if you don't like this for your face, and you don't know what to do with it, use it as a hand cream, and you don't need to worry about wasting your money.

I bought the Benton Box from Memebox USA on March 2016, and used the contents of that box consistently for 2 months straight.  The Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin did absolutely nothing whatsoever for my acne or PIH.  This felt just like water to me.  This was a disappointing hydrating toner, as it minimally hydrated my dry jawline and neck, when I overused my acne treatments.

The only good thing about this hydrating toner, was that it has no scent, which would be great for those sensitive to scents.  But otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this, if you're looking for a toner that provides your skin with hydration, and won't cause you any break outs or unnecessary irritation.  It would be cheaper to mist your face with water, and it would still be cheaper if you wanted to add a few drops of essential oils to that misting water.

I bought the Benton Box from Memebox USA on March 2016, and used the contents of that box consistently for 2 months straight.  The Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence did absolutely nothing whatsoever for my acne or PIH.  I had to incorporate back into my routine a benzoyl peroxide water-based gel treatment at night, and prescription topical medication during the day to help with my acne.  Since I don't like to waste money, and it didn't cause any issues for my very picky skin, I mixed this essence with my lightening serum, to help with providing moisture to my skin.  There are many in the Asian Beauty community who have had amazing results using this essence.  I may have a much more thicker skin than most, and would need stronger ingredients or stronger concentrations of those ingredients to achieve my skin goals.

The good things to point out about this essence though, is that it did provide moisture to my skin.  I tend to break out along my jawline, and the part of my neck where my jawline meets it.  Benzoyl peroxide and my prescription medication would make that area of my face get extremely dry, if I don't provide enough moisture.  I would mix 3 pumps of the essence, with 6 drops of my serum, and it was enough product to cover to my whole face and entire neck.  Therefore, this little bottle can last you quite a while, especially if you don't have dry skin.  Also, this essence has no scent at all, which is great if you're sensitive to scents.
