I’ve jumped on the double cleanse bandwagon with their Kyoto Cleanse.  Camellia cleansing oil is the first step.  It’s exceptionally lightweight (zero grease) and packed with nutrients of camellia (vitamins A, B, D and E and oleic acid), and melts away makeup.  Wash away with a splash of warm water, and follow by the rice enzyme powder (3 strength: gentle, classic and deep), made with the HADASEI-3 Bioactive Complex (ri...

I can't describe how much I love this powder! This cleanser is a powder that foams up very nicely when you add a bit of water. It's exfoliating, but it's gentle so there is no worries about irritation.  It leaves my skin feeling so smooth and clean, a perfectly prepared canvas for the rest of my night routine! I have oily skin and I found that it doesn't strip it too much. Some exfoliators can leave me feeling stripped and cause my face t...

The rice enzyme powder is a fine powder cleanser that foams up when added with a bit of water. It is a bit exfoliating, but is very gentle. This did give my skin a nice glow, but my skin was very tight and uncomfortable after using. The ph of this cleanser is rather high, at an 8 or 9. It may work well for someone with oily skin, but for me it was far too stripping.

This has four different kinds of powders, which are categorized as dry, normal/combination, oily, and sensitive skin rice enzyme powders. I bought the travel sized bottles and tried them the Gentle, Classic, and Deep Polished Rice Enzyme Powder.  GENTLE for dry skin - This is definitely a gentle powder great for dry skin. I reminded me of confectionery sugar consistency, when not activated by water. The powder is more soft to the touch...

The jar and design is so elegant and pretty to have in your bathroom! It dissolves with water really well and leaves my skin feeling smooth albeit a bit dry. Since it's in powder form, it's really travel friendly! Especially if you buy the smaller size (which you can find in the sephora travel section). The scent is really nice and smells a bit like rice! The only downside is for those who are mindful of the pH, it has about a high level of 9! Ot...

This product is so wonderful.  I originally bought a sample because I loved the packaging and now I use it all the time.  I have no idea how a product can be so gentle and clean so deeply at the same time, but this Rice Enzyme Powder does just that.  It is ever so slightly exfoliating too!  Great all around cleanser - I use it as my second step after an oil-based cleanse and it leaves your skin feeling softer, brighter and ver...
