This is the second mask I have tried from Atopalm and it is very different from the Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Ampoule Mask, which was more of a purifying and soothing mask. This is also a soothing, calming mask, but it is infused with a cream essence and has the lovely spiced carnation scent that I have found with other Real Barrier products. The silky, plush micro fiber mask comes with a mesh protector so it doesn't crumple up in the pouch and also for ease of application ~ I found that the fit of this mask was much better than the Aqua Soothing mask. It is drenched in a creamy milky essence, made with panethol, madecassoside, allantoin, cermaides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E ~ which makes this a very moisturizing mask. It also has some anti-aging peptide and fermented soybeans. I like using this as a night time mask, as it is too intense for my oily skin type in the morning routine.

I left this on for 30 minutes and after removing, I found that my skin was less reddened from a procedure I just did (needling) and very hydrated and moist. There is an initial filmy feeling but that goes away as the essence finishes drying down on my skin and my skin feels very supple and toned. This is a great mask to use whenever your skin is stressed ~ from sunburn, windburn, acid treatments or any other skin treatment that leaves your skin feeling a bit rough and irritated. Thank you so much @amabiebeauty & @atopalmusa for sending these masks my way!

AtoPalm Real Barrier Aqua Soothing Ampoule Mask (courtesy of @amabiebeauty & @atopalmusa) I am fast becoming a fan of Atopalm! I have used their eye cream and facial mist and now I am progressing onto sheet masks. This is a purifying, cleansing and calming mask, with a enriched bamboo charcoal black sheet mask.  It is full of hydrating and soothing ingredients ~ 4 different types of hyaluronic acid, polyglutamic acid, glycosaminoglycans, xylitol, panthenol, masdecassodie and allantoin. It also contains ceramides for intense moisture and skin repair, strengthening your skin barrier and mimicking your skin's natural lipid barrier.   This mask is soaked in clear gel-like essence and its scent is very faint and a little bitter. The mask is very soft and of a thicker material, but it adheres well ~ it just is cut a bit on the smaller size ~ I would have liked it to be a little bit bigger, but it gets the important bits on my face.
After 40 minutes, I removed the mask and my skin did feel very hydrated and calm.  I have been using this mask after I do needling, and it really helps calm the redness and swelling, as well as hydrate my skin.  This doesn't leave any tacky or sticky residue, but it does take a while to dry down ~ so if you use it as a morning mask, give yourself some extra wait time!  I really was pleased with this mask ~ have you tried any Atopalm masks?  What did you think of them?

Have you tried a cleansing stick before?  Cleansing sticks have been around for a while and I do appreciate them for when I need to travel. They don’t take up a lot of space, but they can be messy in the tube. However, this cleansing stick from 23 Years Old is a charcoal stick that will help deep clean pores and exfoliate. It’s eco-friendly and gentle formula contains glycerin for hydration so your skin won’t dry out and it has charcoal powder to help pull the dirt from your pores and absorb excess oil.

I do not use it like a cleansing stick as it doesn’t really foam up that much and I only want to use this on my T-Zone area. I use this more like a pore pack mask ~ you know those pore strips you leave on your nose and then rip off? I am using this cleanser stick as a “pore strip” mask ~ I rub the stick over my T-Zone and let it sit on my skin for about 5 minutes, then add water and massage it for some exfoliation and then rinse off with warm water.

Using it this way really does show a good deep cleanse and my pores are very clean! You can use this as regular cleanser as well, but I found it to be very effective as 5 minute mask! My skin is not dry or stripped either ~ for the record, I do have very oily skin, so if you want to try this method, start out at 1 minute and see how it works. The only down side with this cleanser is that is smells like my lemony bathroom cleaner. I usually love citrus scented items, but this one comes pretty close to smelling like what I use for cleaning my toilets and stuff ~ lol. I did not do a pH test on this as it was so dark that I couldn't read the strips.

Crithmum Maritumum is derived from Sea Fennel and has retinol-like benefits ~ reducing fine lines & wrinkles, evening out skin tone, promoting cellular turnover. This mask will brighten your skintone and increase collagen & elastin, while leaving it hydrated. I was a bit shocked when I opened up the mask package and discovered it was a black mask! Nothing about this mask would have pointed to that, but I do love black sheet masks, as they also provide a detoxing component to my masking experience. .

The fit is okay ~ for those of us with bigger faces, this will be a "just barely fits" type of mask. The mask sheet itself is soft and plush, and it is soaked in a watery clear essence that doesn't really have an scent. Due to the thicker nature of the sheet mask, I was able to leave this on for almost an hour as it was so moist. I removed and my face was very moist and wet, but it dried down fairly quickly, with no sticky or tacky residue. My skin tone did look brighter and more radiant, very plumped up with moisture ~ but not dewy. Which is a good thing for me & my oily skin ~ I have found that about 90% of Taiwanese sheet masks I have used will give my skin a mattifying look, which I appreciate. My pores also looked very clean and smaller in appearance.

My wait was worth it! I do recommend this mask to try out !
