This is an interesting product and starts with a consistency similar to that of the Heimish All Clean Balm - a little bit of a solid that melts as soon as it hits your skin.  It's very hydrating (duh), and not too greasy for an oil product. I don't use this daily - i feel like it's too much for that - but when my skin is very dry and stressed, it's the perfect drink.  When I use it, I rub it all over my face, my lips, my eyelashes, my hands and then run my hands through my hair to fight frizz.  I won't use this much in the summer at all, but the first cool day I see, I'm buying another jar!

For my review, please read the review posted by Leigh (@glitteringpoet).  I really can't ad anything more to what she said!  Actually, one thing.  My legs are very dry: flaky, scaly, gross.  After three days of using this on my legs they were soft, hydrated and smooth.  Great product, great price.

I have the tinted version of this, so I 'm reviewing that.  It only comes in one shade, which is "medium" but very dark for my medium skin.  I also find that the coverage is very heavy.  I have full-coverage foundations that don't cover as well.  It has a VERY dewy texture, and if I'm going to wear this I will be needing powder - even with my super dry skin.  There is a very "old lady" fragrance that I don't like, but it fades quickly.   I do think it's great for a day outdoors as your only face covering, because the coverage is so thick.  You can apply it more sparingly and avoid the dewy (oily) problem, but then I feel that I'm not providing adequate sun protection which is the whole point of this.  I won't be buying it again.  If you're looking for a tinted sunscreen, stick to Skinceuticals.

Maracuja Oil

I love facial oils more than most people and use them nightly.  There are loads that I love but I was excited to try this one as Maracuja is a new oil to me.  I think I'll skip it for the future!

I find this to be very similar in function to Argan oil (which I also do not love for my face) in that it's a thicker oil than some other forms of facial oil such as grape seed, rose. squalene, etc.  I am super dry - I can literally put oil all over my face and still need to add moisture in the morning, so this is definitely a good hydrating oil.  Having said that, the thicker texture means that it takes longer to absorb and sits on top of my skin for a very long time and even though acne isn't a problem for me, I felt like this was clogging my pores.

I'd like this better for a body oil or a hair oil, but I'm not putting this on my face again.  Ever.

This is the first fermented essence that I have tried and I'm really not at all impressed.  I expected this to be very hydrating and brightening as I had read so many wonderful things about fermented products, but this just didn't really do anything for me at all.

It's fine - there's nothing I hated about it: no funny scent, the texture is nice, etc. but I just didn't notice any amazing results from it and will not purchase again..

Something crazy is going to have to happen for me to use any other oil based cleanser now that I have found this one.  It is AMAZING and I have a crush on it.

This cleansing oil looks so cool in the bottle because it separates into beautiful, colored layers of pink and purple.  It's just lovely to look at.  It smells incredibly good.  I can't describe the scent at all - it's not very herbal like most of Origins products, it's a bit more flowery, but in a pleasing way.  It smells natural, not artificial.

This oil feels very rich and luxurious when you dispense it in to your hand and as you massage it in to your skin it feels quite rich as well.  You almost wonder how you're going to get it out of your pores it's so thick.  BUT, you don't need to worry, it emulsifies makeup completely but when you add water, the consistency completely changes and it washes off cleanly - leaving your face feeling hydrated, moisturized and very clean - but not even  little bit greasy.

The product contains white and purple rice (which I know they borrowed from Asian beauty brands and why I'm reviewing this here), which help to boost radiance and brighten the complexion.  I honestly cannot say that I've noticed any brightening at all - but I don't even care - I love the texture and scent so much that I seriously will not use another cleanser for my first step unless someone convinces me that I really need to!

Frozen 18

I was so excited when offered the opportunity to try Silkah's Frozen 18 System from the company and Amabie! If you aren't familiar with Silkah, you should be! This Taiwanese company is doing some pretty interesting things in the realm of science-based skincare, but hip enough to understand the value of pretty packaging! The kit that I received, and will be reviewing, is a stem-cell based anti-aging system that includes the Frozen 18 stem-cell product, an activating serum for the dehydrated stem cells, sheet masks and a moisturizer.  There is also a tiny bamboo holder and it's all packaged in a beautiful Tiffany-esque blue.  I was sent four weeks of the system with the promise of taking a picture each week at the same time of day in the same lighting to see test the efficacy of the product and then sharing my thoughts in this honest review.   So, first impressions - SO impressive.  The packaging is just lovely and the company has really paid a ton of attention to detail (the little bamboo holder, for example) and I love that they combining powerful, clinical skincare in pretty packaging.  Just love it.  Of course, I hurried to take some "before" photos, because I wanted to hurry up and get to the fun stuff!

The mixing process is really kind of fun.  The dehydrated stem-cell concentrate (I'll just call them stem cells from here on out) comes in a bottle similar to a perfume sample spray bottle, but larger. The dehydrated stem-cells are in the bottom and I do recommend shaking them a bit before you add the serum just to loosen them up. You unscrew the top, and add the serum. There are lines on the stem-cell spray bottle to indicate how much you use nightly, and the bottle holds three days worth of treatment. The amount you are supposed to use each night is exactly the right amount as indicated on the bottle - enough to thoroughly moisten your neck and chest, but not dripping.

You up use the stem cells at night, because they are quite fragile and acids such as Vitamin C will destroy them. I also liked feeling that it had more time to work on repairing my skin while I slept. A word about the scent: it is an usual scent. I'm an OR nurse and we use various types of freeze-dried products (such as bone) often. The scent of this part of the Frozen 18 system has that exact scent. I liked it because it made me feel like it was truly a medical-grade product! If you're not familiar with it, however, it might be a little strange at first. It's way better than if they added some fake fragrance though! I also love that you only mix three days of serum at a time because it keeps the stem cells nice and fresh!

The moisturizer is in the same type of bottle that Drunk Elephant's C firma is in, but again in the pretty blue. it feels fairly light when you dispense it, and absorbs completely. I think it would be very effective for all skin types. I have super dry skin so I was concerned that it wouldn't be hydrating enough for me. I was wrong. It's very nourishing but not at all oily. There were a couple days during my 4 week trial that were drier than normal and I added a bit extra oil on top, but didn't really need more moisture than this provided.  It has a light, clean scent. Not floral, maybe slightly citrus, but very subtle and not bothersome at all.

The sheet masks....OMG THE SHEET MASKS.... I love them. They are very, very thin and fit beautifully. I actually fell asleep with one on one night! There was about a reasooon of essence left over, which of course I used on my neck and chest.

Now, onto what you really want to know...did it work? Well, the attached photos clearly speak for themselves. After the first couple of uses, my skin felt much tighter and more lifted, but when I imparted week 1 to week 2 pictures, I didn't really notice much difference.  At this point though, there was enough about the system that I liked that I wanted to keep using it - mostly because mixing the stem cells was super fun. 😝

I would definitely buy this system again, but I would also buy any part of the system to use alone. The masks are just perfect, I'm still using the moisturizer every night (with plenty still left at 5 weeks of nightly use) and I think the pictures show how well the stem cells worked quite clearly. I think it's worth mentioning that I take pretty good care of my skin regularly, and the results were still this noticeable.  I'm crinkling my eyes as tightly as I can in these photos, so it looks even better when I'm not making funny faces.

Hope you enjoy my photos and that this review is helpful. Please let me know if you have any questions! This review will also be on my blog at and follow me on Instagram for skincare and #beautyover40!

i have very dry skin, so this isn't really a product for me, but it's really good - especially for the price!  I've seen this for less than $5 on Amazon.  I think that this product is little more than cornstarch and tea tree oil, but it does apply translucent, does an excellent job of mattifying and probably does a great job at controlling sebum.

This is not a product for me, but I can see why people love it.  This is an enzyme cleaner, which is great for younger and/or sensitive skin (I prefer AHA or BHA).  It starts as a powder which gives nice, gentle exfoliation (I prefer sand blasting) and dissolves into a lovely foam.  I used this is a second step and after, my skin did feel clean and fresh.  There's nothing horrible to say about this product - I just won't buy it again because it doesn't change my life.

Y'all! Oh my!  The Garnier version is waaaayyyyyy better and half the price.

I received one tube of this in a K-beauty subscription.  I had no clue how to use it, so after I washed my hair, I poured half the tube directly on my hair, let it hang out for a bit and then rinsed it off.  OMG - it was amazing.  My hair didn't frizz, even after air-drying - and it also didn't look like it was greasy and stuck to my head like many products do.  But anyway, I liked it enough that I looked it up because I wanted to order some.  Well, in looking for the product to buy, I stumbled on how you are supposed to use it!  You mix it about 50/50 with water and blend - and it turns into this creamy, thickened conditioner.  It's pretty fun to mix and watch it become what you would expect from conditioner!  I mixed the rest of my tube with water in a bowl to watch the magic happen, and then I applied it to my hair.  I kind of felt like it didn't work as well!  So I did order a huge box of them for not very much money on Amazon, and I'm just going to go ahead and keep pouring it directly on to my hair instead of mixing it.  Definitely not as much fun - but a lot quicker and seems to work just as well!

I'm not sure where I got the deluxe sample of this product, I've had it for quite a while without trying it. I'm generally not a fan of BB creams because they are not enough coverage alone for my skin, but they usually add too much to my face to use under my regular foundation. This one is very different than any other BB Cream I've used,  it's a cross between a gel and a cream. It has good pigmentation so just looking at it makes you think it's going to be far too much, but it's not at all. Once you start to massage it, it truly does feel like a water drop and it absorbs so quickly and completely while giving pretty good coverage that I was speechless.  I really like this product. It does have that old lady fragrance that Korean brands really seem to embrace,  but it fades quickly.  I'm including a series of photos of the product. My bare hand, the dispensed product, after one swipe and then rubbed completely in. I used this part of my arm becUse of the bug bite to show the coverage.

This is one of the most interesting products I have ever tried - and I think everyone should try it ... just so you can send me a message telling me how you think this works.  The product is listed as a hydrating toner and it looks lijke water.  However, once you feel the texture of the product, it's almost more like a watergel - it's definitely not a gel, it's just thickened water....that feels reallly great on your face and is super moisturizing and hydrating while feeling like absolutely nothing but water on your skin!  It's so hard to describe and the effect is every bit as hard to describe.   All I know is that it contains sea water (yay!), does an amazing job of hydrating, dries like pure water and leaves skin feeling soft and looking very bright and fresh.  LOVE This - want to try more and get to know more about this interesting product.

A friend and I both ordered this mask at the same time.  She hated hers.  I loved mine.  Here are my thoughts, she's on her own!  This is a 2-step masking set that is meant to peel, brighten and whiten, and then add moisture and conditioning.  The first step is a cotton applicator soaked in an AHA Milkpeel.  My friend's main complaint was that this step did not contain enough milk peel to swab her entire face.  Mine contained enough to swab my entire face three times - which is exactly what I did, leaving it to dry completely between applications.  My skin was slightly red and tingly after this step, but it was not harsh or uncomfortable at all.  The second step is a microfiber mask that "infuses the skin with bio-compatible hyaluronic acid to promote deep moisturizing".   The mask fit perfectly, had exactly the right amount of essence and left my skin feeling so soft and refreshed, plumped and hydrated.  Really a beautiful effect, due most likely to the 2-step process.  Unfortunately this is a very expensive mask at roughly $8 and thus is far too expensive for me to use regularly.  I would probably use this product far more often if it were a bit more affordable - but the fact that there seems to be some inconsistencies in packaging makes me reluctant to repurchase.  But I definitely would use this daily if I could afford to!

Did someone say age-defying?  Please sign me up!  This mask is made to replenish and nourish aging skin and contains collagen, vitamin E, green tea extracts and tropical fruits (Vitamin C).  Excited by this prospect, I opened the mask to be really surprised by how much essence was there - a lot!  I mean, a lot a lot.  Like, dripping down my neck for 20 minutes alot.  I prefer that to not enough - but it was a lot if i haven't mentioned that already! I found this interesting because I read a review elsewhere on this mask that complained about it being very dry.  I'm not sure if it was the particular mask that I had, or if they started to add more essence to the package...but mine was good.  Definitely enough left over to massage into my neck and shoulders.  The fragrance is faint and pleasant, not something I can pinpoint - maybe slightly fruity?  Definitely left my skin looking brighter and felt very soft - probably a better daytime mask than nighttime.  Overall, good mask that I liked a lot but not one that I have already repurchased.  I would, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

How adorable is this packaging?  SO cute.  That being said, I wasn't really expecting much from this product because of the cute packaging.  I'm a fan of Nature Republic for the most part - I've liked most of the products I've tried from the brand and for winter, I love a tinted lip moisturizer.  I usually apply one under lipstick so that the colors complement each other.  As I've said before, I have very dry skin and my lips are the absolute worst.  In the winter, I have to slather them with something ultra hydrating before bed or I will wake up looking like I've been asleep for a month.  That said, I still have to add extra hydration in the morning - and keep hydrated through the day.  This lip butter balm is made with natural ingredients, comes in a bright pink color and has a slight cherry scent.  The color is absolutely lovely on, it's  faint wash of brightening pink which will be perfect all winter long and well into the spring too!  It instantly brightens your face without being an "in your face" obnoxious pink.  It's lovely.  The hydration is great and really adds so much moisture that I'm carrying it around with me constantly.  Everything about this product is a win for me - it's a quality moisturizer, it adds a pop of color that is still subtle and the packaging is too cute.  Love it.

I am always excited to try any product that promises to hydrate my skin - I cannot add enough moisture, ever.  I like the clinical appearance of the packaging - it always makes me feel like it will work better when the packaging looks clinical.  :)  The fit of this mask is good for me, it's made for thinner faces, I think and the eye holes were pretty small.  Overall, I didn't have any challenges with the fit and the mask was soaked in enough essence that it stayed moist on my face for 30 minutes.  There was also left over essence in the package which I like to massage into my neck, chest and shoulders.  The mask was so moist that it felt very cooling while it was on - and it fit well enough that I was able to be up and doing other things while masking.  After removing the mask, my skin definitely appeared more hydrated.  Hyaluronic acid draws water into the skin which gives a plumping effect for several hours.  I used this mask before bed, which was a mistake.  I will buy this mask, but I will buy it for morning use to help keep my face looking fresh all day long!

I love all hydrating mists, and this one is pretty special.  Jurlique is a new-to-me brand, and I love the packaging.  This glass bottle feels so good in your hand - and it's just so lovely to look at on your bathroom counter.  Of course you pay a premium for the pretty packaging - sometimes I think it's worth it and other times I do not.  In this case, I think it's a bit too much to pay for a hydrating mist - but it is a lovely and great product.  Fortunately, it doesn't smell strongly of roses for which I was incredibly thankful.  It has a light and refreshing scent that isn't really floral at all.  It does help perk me up in the morning - which I always need.  The mist feels wonderful on your face and it is hydrating - my skin feels refreshed and soft after using it.  I like it a lot, I used the whole bottle quite quickly.  I would be very happy to receive this as a gift, but I think there are other brands that I would prefer to try before paying for this one again.

I received this product in a Sephora Favorites set - Soko to Tokyo and didn't think much of it.  There were many products in the set that I was excited to try, and I kind of forgot about this one - what a mistake!  This was, by far, the best product in the set and definitely one that I will continue to buy again and again.  Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit and this double lotion has a light, fresh citrus scent.  I love it.  The lotion sort of separates out in the bottle so you have to shake it before each use to homogenize the liquid - the two "phases" of the lotion work together to give the skin a radiant appearance and it definitely works that way - it's fantastic!  The powerful antioxidants in the yuzu fruit really come through in this product and I'm so sad that it's gone.  I might consider replacing my vitamin C serum for this product entirely.  I love everything about it and I wish it came in a spray bottle so I could completely saturate my face every morning!

I bought a 5 pack of these to give as Christmas gifts. I  thought they would be snowman character masks, but they are not.  It didn't really matter - they still made great gifts for my friends!  This is a winter-special hydrating mask that contains an oily essence to hydrate and add glow to skin being abused by the winter.  Overall, this is a good mask but nothing special.  It did provide a nice level of hydration to my dry skin and left my skin feeling soft.  It has a nice fragrance and fit fairly well.  I think the best use for this is as holiday gifts due to the cute packaging.  I would purchase again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find them.

I was so excited that my local grocery store began carrying the Creme Shop sheet masks!  I bought this one and the penguin "Drink Up, Skin" to start.  I HATE this mask.  There is nothing at all wrong with the mask itself:  the tiger is cute, the fit was fine for me and there was plenty of essence on the mask.  That's the problem.  For whatever reason, this mask has a very, very strong scent of baby powder.  This is not a scent that I have ever enjoyed because it instantly makes me thing of baby butts and poop - but I do know some people like that scent.  I wasn't able to keep the mask on long, maybe 5 minutes before the scent was too much to bear and I removed it...and then immediately washed my face.  Ugh.  Horrible. my review for the penguin!

This was my very first Horse Oil product and I was so excited to try it.  One of my favorite things about Asian beauty products is the unique and interesting ingredients - and horse oil is definitely new to me.  This is also the first product from the brand ESL that  I've tried.  First off - I was very scared that this mask would have an unpleasant scent. I'm not sure what I expected it to smell like (maybe horses!??!) but luckily, there is not a harsh odor with this mask.  The fit was a little off for me, I have a long, skinny face (like a horse!) and this was quite a bit too wide, but that has never stopped me before.  I smoothed it over my face and laid back to relax and watch the magic happen.   THis sheet mask contains oil from Jeju Island that has antiaging benefits.  I loved how hydrating this mask felt after removing it.  My face didn't feel oily at all, but it definitely felt softened and looked smoother and more refined.  I would like to try other masks that contain horse oil so that I can compare them, but I would definitely purchase this mask.

The Cure's Sea Water Collagen Essence Mask is right up my alley - I'm a huge believer in the healing powers of sea water and was very excited to try this mask.  It's a good mask - maybe not amazing and life changing, but certainly one that I would buy again.  The fit was good, it was very soaked in essence, it smelled nice and it did leave my skin looking fresh and hydrated.  Nothing I didn't like about this particular mask, although nothing that really makes it a huge stand out, either.

I have only used this product twice. I usually do not write reviews for products that I haven't really gotten to know well, however, I do not see myself using this product again so my opinion is based only on two uses.   I love overnight masks and sleeping packs because I have really, really dry skin.  I love CosRx products.  I love honey products.  Everything was in line for me to love this product.  But I don't.   First of all, I was surprised that it's not a cream, it's a gel-type product.  It actually looks like pure honey poured into the jar (but it's not sticky!), so that was a surprise and my first sign that this wouldn't work well for me.  It doesn't have a bothersome scent at all, and it didn't irritate my skin.  But, it isn't deeply hydrating, as it's meant to be and the next morning, my skin didn't look any different at all.   I know that others really love this product, so I'm thinking that it might just not be right for me - but I think i will give this to a friend with acne-prone skin and see what her thoughts are!

I completely agree with Kristine's (@chubbylamb) review and honestly can't add much. I think she mentioned the most important point for me which is that so much absorbs so quickly it doesn't seem very effective as a sleeping pack.  I am drawn to sleeping packs that are much more hydrating and honestly, I would rather stick to my pillow than have something absorb so quickly!

Rose Face Mask

I have never used a product from fresh that I like at all - and this is no exception.  This is a brownish colored gel mask that has chunks of brown rose petals in it. It definitely smells like roses which is a fragrance that I like, but this is just too much.  The gel is cooling when you apply it, and I think that's about all that I can say for it.  While rose is supposed to be hydrating, the gel base of this mask detracts from the hydration.  I can't say that I find it too relaxing, as it's too cool on the skin and stays that way until you wash it off.  I find it to be sticky and stinky - and with that, I'm OUT.  Not for me at all.

If I don't call this product an exfoliating mask, I love it.  Here's why:  I love Skin Food and many of their products are among my favorites.  Their Black Sugar Scrub is close to HG status for me.  That might be part of why I'm not so crazy about this one - when I exfoliate, I like the feeling of a deep exfoliation like the Black Sugar scrub and this doesn't feel like it does much in terms of exfoliation.  If I think of this as a soothing and brightening mask, however, I like it a lot.  It's rich and creamy and feels great when you apply it.  I like to place a thick layer of this creamy mask all over my face and let it sit for about 5 or 10 minutes.  Once it is beginning to firm up, I add some water and massage it around for a few more minutes, then rinse it off.  My face instantly looks brighter, and I think the rice is very soothing and calming to my skin which is prone to redness.   It feels quite hydrating as well and my face feels very soft once I rinse it off.  I love those things about it, but as an exfoliating mask, it's far too gentle for me - which would make it ideal for those with sensitive skin.

The packaging of these eye patches is beautiful.  They are perfect little hydrogel yin yangs in a jar and the black and gold iridescence is just so soothing and pretty.  They come with a tiny little spatula to assist with lifting them out of the jar, but I just use my hands.  I would love to keep the jar in my fridge, but I will forget about them, so I just use them in my bathroom.  They are very cooling even without being cold.  I have found that when I first apply them I have to lay still for a bit, but once they have settled and I can get up and move around a bit.  I have been using them every night as they do expire quickly and I do not like wasting, but this jar will last a very long time, even with daily use.  I have definitely noticed an improvement in the skin under my eyes since starting with these and find that my concealer doesn't crease like it did before.  I would definitely repurchase these, however, I think I will try some other brands before I buy another jar of these - but I like these so much that I have a strong feeling I will be back for them!

This is a great peel off mask!  I love Boscia products, and this is no exception.  This is the best peel off mask I have ever used.  If you're like me, you find something really satisfying about peeling off a mask, but get frustrated by the little bits that dont' dry all the way and just stay gooey until you end up washing them off.  This mask doesn't do that - and my favorite thing about it is that each time I have used it I have been able to remove the mask almost completely intact.  I've even taken pictures of it, it's THAT satisfying!  It is a much thicker product than most masks and it can be a bit tricky to get out of the squeeze tube because of that, but it applies to nicely and evenly.  You need to apply a very thick layer over your entire face and then wait for it to dry - which takes at least a full 30 minutes.  Once it's dry, the peeling off part is so easy and like I said, it comes off almost completely whole.  It definitely does wax all the little vellum hairs off your face, so be sure to leave a wide area around your eyes to save your eyebrows!  I do not have a problem with blackheads, but if you do, I guarantee this mask will pull all of those out too!  It leaves your face looking very fresh and bright, even glowy.  I love it.  In fact, I think I'll use it again tonight.  Definitely will repurchase this product.  Definitely.

Amabie kindly sent this product to me for review. I was excited to try it and while I rarely have breakouts, I had a terrible breakout right after this arrived - for the first time ever I was happy to break out!  AND... it was a terrible breakout!  It started as one tiny spot and before I knew it, I had acne all over my face.  Because of that, I was able to try this product first as a spot treatment and then later as a treatment for my whole face to try and control the breakout!  The packaging is very nice, it's a small glass bottle with a dropper type top.  I do not like those types of dropper tops, so I removed it so that I could either stick a cotton swab into the bottle or pour the product onto a cotton pad.  The product looks and feels quite a lot like calamine lotion - and I think it might be mostly calamine lotion with tea tree oil added - at least, that is what it feels and smells like.  I personally do not care for the scent of tea tree oil, but I know that it is very good for acne and I had to get rid of mine fast!  There is nothing cute about a middle aged woman with acne.  Seriously.

For the first few days I had it, I simply spot treated and it didn't seem to be working very well.  Then, I read the instructions which said that you could either use it as a spot treatment or use it on your full face.  I began using it on my full face as directed and it still didn't seem to be working very well.  By now, we were five days in and I couldn't stand the spots anymore so I used the CosRx treatment patches on each spot - and they were gone the next morning.

This might be a great product for someone with oily, acne prone skin - but for me, I think it actually made the breakout much worse.  I will not use it again, however, I did give it to my teenage son to use for his face and he seems to like it quite well.  But I don't think he is actually using it, I think he is just telling me that so that I will stop asking him questions!

These little eye patches are made of a papery substance that I typically like as I find they adhere better than many of the hydrogel patches.  I find these to be quite cheaply made and I don't enjoy the childish packaging.  Having said that, they are cheap and because of that, you could keep several packages in your fridge to use on morning when your eyes are very puffy.  They do have loads of essence on them and they were a bit drippy, but that is better than a product not having enough essence on it, I guess!  I didn't find that they did anything at all in terms of promoting collagen or reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in the eye area - but then again, I only used two packages, so I guess I shouldn't really expect miracles.   Overall, I will not repurchase these as I have a brand that I like a great deal better, but I do see a value in having this type that you could just keep on hand for emergency puffy-eye syndrome!

I will always use a vitamin C serum as part of my routine because I find that it makes a HUGE difference in the appearance of my skin - especially noticable when I don't use a vitamin C serum!  My skin looks ruddy and dull, but as soon as I start back with a C serum, it brightens again giving me a more youthful glow - very important as I am not aging gracefully!  I like this product, but I don't LOVE this product.  I strongly prefer Drunk Elephant's vitamin C serum to this one and this one is pretty expensive.  It works well, I just think there are other options for a vitamin C serum that are just as effective and less expensive.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. I'm out and I cannot wait to get more.  The claims of this product are that it boosts your skin's immunity to help fight damage from UV light and free-radicals.  Now, I'm not sure that the skin has it's own immune system, at least not one that is localized to the areas where you would apply this, but I love this treatment serum and feel that it does great things for my dry, aging skin.  It is a creamier serum than most and has no fragrance that I can identify.  Because it is a thicker, creamier texture, I feel that it sits on the skin longer allowing the ingredients to absorb more completely.  I use this as part of my AM routine right after a vitamin C serum and right before moisturising and feel that it helped make my skin appear smoother and more radiant, while helping to plump fine lines and give an overall hydration boost.  It isn't cheap, but I do feel that it's a GREAT product.

In general, I love serums.  I feel that the best results for my skin comes from the regular use of a serum and I love that I can choose serums that target specific skin concerns.  This serum was recommended to me for anti-aging benefits including plumping and firming and the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles.  I'm not sure that it had much of an impact, but I did like the product and used it all over a 2 month period.  It has a very nice, understated flower type scent that fades quickly.  The serum is easy to use and a bit thicker than many serums which I like as I feel that it helps prevent waste and takes a bit longer to absorb which for whatever reason I feel that means it works better :)  The packaging is really pretty - as you can see it's a nice red bottle, and it's glass which I strongly prefer over plastic.  It comes with a dropped inside and a little bit of product goes a long way.  As I mentioned above, the bottle lasted about two months with nightly use. I did use every last drop of it, but I haven't repurchased it.  I think that I probably would, and still may, I'm just trying other products right now to try and find my HG - and I don't necessarily think this is it!

Let's be honest - the only reason anyone (me included) buys this product is because the snail is the cutest thing ever.  I purchased this using Ipsy points and so I have a tiny little snail to decorate my photos with. I actually had to do a web search to find out what the product inside was!  I was very happy to discover the 80% snail mucin as I have found snail to be a very good product for me that produces great results.  I haven't used this particular product enough to discuss long-term results and I won't be able to as my snail is very small, but I can tell you that the cream is very light and it absorbs completely and quickly and it doesn't have a scent of any kind to speak of.  I could use this as a daytime moisturizer in the summer, but it isn't creamy enough to do me much good the rest of the time, certainly not without adding some oils.  Having said that, I'm sure that I will repurchase it due to the seriously cute packaging.

When I read so many amazing reviews about a product,  then try it, I'm almost always disappointed as my experience doesn't seem to match other people's.  This is one of those products...for so many people, this is such a must-have product and I was so excited to try it because it has all the ingredients that I love and that seem to really work well for my skin.  I also heard that it was very moisturizing, which is wonderful for my dry skin.  I also really like the price point and find that it is a good value.  So, what's wrong?  This is a very, very thick cream.  If you use more than a tiny little amount, you will spend a very long time rubbing it in.  I think that must be why people like it so much - all that rubbing stimulates circulation and your face looks great! Haha.  For me, I found it to never completely absorb and left my skin feeling a little greasy and sticky - and not really clean.  I didn't care much for that.  Overall, I think it's an OK product, but I have used all of mine and have not repurchased it.  I don't think I will, except that one of the other reviews said she used it as a hand cream and I think I would LOVE it as a hand cream and might purchase again just to try that!

Oh goodness - another Purlisse product that I just cannot get excited about - I hate that, and I hate writing reviews like this too. we go!  Every single Purlisse product that I've tried (except their sheet masks, those are really good) leaves me feeling like something is missing.  Unfortunately, this one feels that way too.  This is a very light gel/serum type product more than a rich moisturizing cream - and that is not what I want in my eye products.  I have fine lines around my eyes that are worse than other parts of my face and because of that, if I am going to take the time to use an eye product, I want to feel like it is really working for me.   The good - it absorbs quickly, it's not irritating in the least and it has a light fragrance.  Otherwise, there's nothing remarkable about it and my eyes don't look any different after using it for 14 days straight.  I would not repurchase.

In general, I love Dr. Jart products and have been very happy with each one that I have tried.  This one is no exception.  It's a very light moisturizer with a  light and fresh scent.  You need only a small amount of the product to cover your full face, and as you apply it, you understand why it's called Water Drop - it feels more like you are applying a gel-like water rather than a cream.  It definitely does what you want - it hydrates quite nicely and doesn't leave your skin feeling oily at all - it looks plumped, with a nice dewy finish - almost like you've applied a great hydrating mask or a hyaluronic acid product! This would be wonderful moisturizer for those with oily skin.   For my very dry skin I love using it in the daytime before I apply my other products that are hydrating such as a sunscreen and a hydrating primer.  Alone, it's not enough moisture for me.  I received a deluxe sample of this from Sephora recently, and would definitely consider purchasing this again as a daytime moisturizer in the summer.

I was so excited to try this product because it's so cute. I mean, everything about it is cute - the packaging, the lips - it just looked like it was going to be wonderful.  Unfortunately, I cannot tell you anything about this product because I couldn't keep it on my face.  Usually, hydro-gel products stick very well and you can be up and about and doing things while you are using the product - not with this one!  It kept slipping off.  I tried for about 3 minutes to get it to stick, then I got frustrated and threw it in the trash.  A friend of mine said that when she used it, she laid down for the first 10 or so minutes and then was able to get up and keep it on, but I don't think I will buy it again to try the theory as I have tried several other brands of lip mask that stick much better and seem to produce good results.  I will not repurchase - the only reason it gets two hearts is because it's so cute.

I really like many of Drunk Elephant's products (I love their Vitamin C Serum) and I love facial oils for my super dry skin - but this product isn't anything special.  Marula oil is one of my favorite types for use on my face because it isn't as greasy as some oils can be in general, and this is no exception.  It absorbs quite well, but better for nighttime use than daytime use as it gives more time to absorb and fight wrinkles overnight - plus it can look pretty shiny for several hours after application.  The drawback for me is that the price is quite high for a facial oil ($90) that doesn't do anything more special than any other facial oil that I've tried.  I wouldn't buy this one again, and for what it's worth - I feel exactly the same way about Tarte's Marula Oil.  I do use facial oils every single night, I'm just not terribly impressed with these and for the money, I would opt for La Mer.

Please note that I rarely give a review of 5. I like to save that for the products that are really, really special and this one definitely is.  Kate Sommerville is Hollywood's go-to skin care guru (For fun, you might want to google her story - there is some really amazing drama around her and a competitor if you want to read about backstabbing and drama!) and luckily for us, she has packaged some of her go-to products.  Exfolikate comes in a regular and gentle version and if your skin even leans slightly towards sensitive, try the gentle version.  I do not have sensitive skin so I am reviewing the original Exfolikate.  It's a thick, green exfoliant that has a very strong herbal scent.  It's not a soothing, spa-like herbal scent like the Caudalie Beauty Elixir though, it's harsh and bracing - and I'll just be honest about it - it smells terrible.  It is VERY abrasive.  To use, you apply it like you would a mask, leave it on for a few minutes then add water and rub in a circular motion around your face.  When complete, you rinse off the stinky green stuff and what's left behind is skin that is very soft, fresh and absolutely glowing.  I find this to be a pretty harsh product, so I only use it a couple of times a month or before a special occasion, however, it does make your skin beautiful.  I really want to try some of her other products, but just haven't gotten around to them yet!  If you have any recommendations, please message me about them!

I really, really like this face wash as a second step cleanser - but it's not a Korean brand.  Belif, however, is a Korean brand and this cleanser reminds me a LOT of Belif's foaming face wash - and I would purchase that one because they are so similar, and I prefer the fragrance of the Belif cleanser.  Origins makes great products, and this is a very creamy, foaming face wash that leaves your skin feeling clean, but not stripped of natural oils.  It doesn't do a good job removing eye makeup at all, though, so you will need another product to tackle that problem!  It does have a clean, fresh scent and it does produce a lot of frothy bubbles like I prefer.   I would probably purchase this one again, but with all the amazing products on the market, it's definitely not one that I cannot live without.

I have about one million minis of this cleanser from various subscription boxes, and I feel the same way about all Purlisse products that I've tried as I do this one - they are fine, maybe even good - but never GREAT.

I will gladly admit that for my second cleanser, I like products that are very foamy and leave my skin feeling clean and hydrated.  This is not that.  What this is is a very milky, gentle cleanser that doesn't foam very much at all.  I find that to get my skin feeling as clean as I like, I have to use a LOT of this product - much more than I would prefer.  It never really bubbles, because, after all, it's a milk.

If you have sensitive skin and are looking for a gentle cleanser, this would probably be a great choice.  However, it doesn't do a very good job of removing dirt, oil or makeup, so you would absolutely need to use it after an oil cleanser, and you would likely need a separate eye makeup remover, depending on how good a job your oil cleanser did.  Very average (at best) product.

I received this product in one of my K-beauty subscription boxes and because I absolute adore the Heimish All Clean Balm, I was excited to try it.  This product is clay-based, so I was very worried that it would be drying, but it contains quite a few oils, so it is not.  When you apply it to your face, it looks and feels like a clay based mask.  Once you add water, however, it turns into a luxurious, foaming wash that leaves your skin feeling so clean and soft, it's amazing.  I cannot place the fragrance, but it is pleasant and not overpowering.  I love how rich and foamy it feels once you add water, it reminds me a lot of Belif's foaming face wash - it's that type of a consistency.  The package it comes in is HUGE and it's a great price for this much product.  I do not think I will repurchase (at least not any time soon) because it will probably last me for months if not years.  Otherwise, I would probably consider purchasing this again.  I do feel that it would be a better product for oily skin types than for my dry skin, but it isn't as drying as I had feared.

I feel so "meh" about this product that it's difficult to even review.  I like it.  I used the entire bottle quite quickly, but I haven't purchased again.  I would, but I haven't.  Here's why - it's fine.  It is refreshing.  It is calming.  It feels as if it softens and soothes skin.  It has a light and pleasant fragrance.  The packaging is so beautiful and simple that I want to have it on my bathroom counter as part of my routine.  There isn't anything much negative to say about it, but there's nothing that makes me think i can't live without it either, and that breaks my heart!  I wanted to LOVE this product, but I just don't.  When there are so many other products to try, this one didn't make me think that I had found the perfect one for back to the search!

This is a beautiful product!  I strongly believe that most skin types should use a peeling product daily as an exfoliant to keep skin looking and feeling fresh and youthful.  Unfortunately, many products that contain alpha hydroxy acids can be quite strong and  difficult to use daily.  This product is an exception and I find it to be extremely gentle and absolutely suitable for daily use.  The package states that you can use it twice daily, but I find that it makes my skin slightly red so I use it as part of my nightly routine only.  It has a light and pleasant fragrance, the packaging is nice and it comes with gauze pads instead of cotton pads.  I have found that the extra exfoliation that you get using the gauze pads is fantastic!  I am very glad that I found this product and have replaced the Benton AHA/BHA product with this one and like it a great deal more!  I will continue using this as a daily peel.

While I generally like Clinique products, this one is a major miss for me.  Before I continue, I will say that my skin is very dry and I think this is meant for people with acne prone, oily skin - so I shouldn't have been using this in the first place.

I think the alcohol or witch hazel concentration here is very high, so it's a drying lotion, not a hydrating toner.  You can smell the alcohol quite strongly.   I don't believe this balances anything if your skin is mostly normal and I think it would be damaging if your skin was sensitive.

It's a big miss for me - especially at the price!

Honest TT Mist

I received this is a K-beauty subscription box, so this is not designed for my skin type and I would not ever have purchased this. I LOVE misting products though, so I was excited to give this one a try.  It has a faint tea tree fragrance, not nearly as strong as many tea tree products, which I considered to be a good thing.  I like the packaging, it's tall and slim and fits nicely in your hand for spraying.  The crazy thing about this product is the force of the spray - it's really intense for a hand-held spray bottle!!  Kind of funny, honestly.  It comes out super hard and fast and will completely saturate your face in two or three pumps! I wish some other products of mine worked like this.  Anyway, it's not for my skin type and it's a fine product but I definitely won't be purchasing it again.  I will probably use the rest of this because I don't think it will last very long with how small the bottle is and how fast it comes out!

Beauty Water

I love hydrating waters.  I mean, I really love them.  I have them stashed everywhere I am - there is at least one in my desk at work, another in my car, probably one in my purse right now and I can't even tell you how many at home.  Maybe my expectations of this beauty water were a little too high before I tried it, but I'm just not feeling the love as much as I've heard about it.  It smells lovely, a very light citrus scent that is perfect.  That's about the best thing I can say about it.  I think that I would like it a great deal more if it had a spray top so that I could use it more like a hydrating mist, but as a toner it just doesn't excite me.  It works fine, I like that it balances pH, but while there is nothing bad I can say about it, there isn't anything spectacular to say about it either.  I strongly prefer Caudalie's Beauty Elixir.

This was the first oil-based cleanser that I ever used, long before I discovered K-beauty products and fell in love.  For a drug-store product, I think this does a great job!  It is a bit thicker (more like DHC than some of the lighter oils) and doesn't rinse off quite as cleanly as some of the Korean brands I have tried, but if you're on a tight budget and/or live in an area where products can be difficult to find, this one is a great option.  It's inexpensive, smells nice and does a great job of emulsifying makeup - even very stubborn makeup.  Because it's a little heavier than some other oils, I would definitely recommend following with a second cleanser as this can definitely leave your face feeling a bit oily - but it also really leaves your skin soft and helps correct dryness.

Ugh - I completely hate this product.  From the moment you open it, it fails to meet all of your expectations and it just gets worse from there!  As its called Coco Cleanser, and it looks as if it has bits of coconut shell in it as an exfoliant, I expected it to have a coconut fragrance.  It doesn't.  It smells like old-lady perfume and it's very strong and very off-putting.  Next problem is the texture.  It's like a jelly almost, and it falls off your hands and off your face before you can even begin to massage it in to your skin.  Lastly, it doesn't do a good job of cleansing AT ALL - even if you use enough product to completely cover your face.  As for it being a one-step cleanser - there is no way!!!  After I used it, I used a cleansing water to see how much was left on my skin and it was basically filthy.  I had to use two other cleansers after this one.  I received this for review purposes from another company and it's horrible.  Seriously bad.  I will almost always use all of a product, even if I don't love it because I do not like wasting good  products.  If I don't wish to use the rest, I will give it to a friend that I think may like it, even if I didn't.  Not this one - this one went straight into the trash.  It's mild like they say though, very mild.  :)

I received this product from Amabie for review purposes.  This is my honest and unbiased review.

I really, really enjoy this cleansing oil. I LOVE cleansing oils in general as I have dry skin and I wear a great deal of makeup I feel that an oil cleanse is an essential first step for me.  I have used some other products that I absolutely adore and some that I didn't like very much.  I find this one to be really good and one of the better ones that I have used.  It is thicker than a lot of the lighter oil cleansers (like The Face Shop) which means you don't have to basically slap it on your face before it's running down your arms!  You have some time to work with it - but it's thin enough that you can really spend some time massaging it in to your skin without feeling like you are clogging your pores.  The fragrance is extremely pleasant - like a nice, light and clean soap.  I find it funny that a facial oil smells like soap, but it does.  It does a very good job of removing makeup, including my very difficult to remove eye makeup, and leaves my skin prepped and ready for the next cleanser.  More importantly, it's light enough that when you remove it, you don't feel like your face is oily - it feels fresh and hydrated, but not greasy or still dirty.  I would definitely consider repurchasing this product.

I received this product from Amabie for review purposes - Thank you!  What follows is my honest and unbiased review...

When I was a little kid, I used to always put my father's shaving cream all over my face and then I would pretend to shave it off.  I hadn't thought about doing that until I received this product and tried it, so it brought back a happy memory and brings me to what I most like about this product - it's really fun to use!  A little bit goes a very long way and the foam grows as many cream foams do after you dispense it into your hand.  It's feels really good to me to spread this thick foam on my face and I like the slight tingling feeling as the air in the product dissipates.   For me, however, that's the best part of it!  Everything else about it is fine - the fragrance is not very strong and it does a very good job of cleaning (I've only used it after my oil cleanse, I haven't tried it alone) and it leaves my skin feeling fresh without being very dry.  I do find that it might be a bit pricey to repurchase, and for me, there are so many other products that I really want to try that I probably will not purchase this.  I will continue to use it until it's gone - so it's good, maybe not great - but good enough and definitely fun to use!

Unlike some of the other reviewers, I was not at all bothered by the scent of this.  I didn't find it particularly strong and it is certainly not an unpleasant scent, and it's strange because fragrance is usually a big issue for me with many products!  What I didn't like about this product was the consistency.  It is a very light oil - and very thin - which makes it fairly difficult to use.  Once you dispense the product into your hand, you've got to work very quickly to get it on your face or else it will slide down your arms long before you actually reach your face!  I have used the entire bottle, but I definitely will not be repurchasing.  I am a huge fan of The Face Shop products, but this one is just a miss - I'm actually glad it's gone.  :)

I usually like Banila co products a great deal and this one is no exception!  I had a deluxe trial size of this product, so I can't really speak to the whitening aspect of it, but I was able to use this product for three nights and I do have an opinion on it as a moisturizer.  The product is a clear gel with white "beads" inside that look like tiny boba.  It is fragranced, a perfume scent, but it's not overwhelming and it fades quickly.  The gel base of this moisturizer is very hydrating and thick but not at all greasy.  I would think that even someone with very oily skin could benefit from this product.  The coolest thing about this product is that as you massage the essence into your skin, you can feel the little beads burst, releasing whatever is inside of them.  It's really kind of fun!  The product absorbs quickly and completely and as it's a sleeping essence, I kept it as my last step.  The next day, my skin felt very soft and looked  more hydrated and refreshed.  I really enjoyed this product and will definitely consider purchasing again.

I think this is a great product for some people,  this just isn't' a great product for me.  I rarely get acne, but when I do, I usually only have one or two spots that heal fairly quickly.  After Amabie sent me this product for review, however, my face decided to have a breakout party so that I could write an honest review for the product!  Thanks, face! :(  I had 5 spots pop up, and they were quite large and in various areas on my face.  This product has a strong menthol smell of tea tree oil, I scent that I like but it always makes me think of breakouts.   It is a fairly thick product, sort of a whitish pink and looks like a cross between calamine lotion and tea tree oil.  Because of the thickness and the color, I wouldn't recommend using this product during the day time, instead I applied it before bed.  I used this product a few different ways.  First, I put it on a cotton swab and treated the spots, leaving a thick coating of it on the spots.  The next night, I used a cotton pad and swiped a light coating all over a broad area that was affected.  This made the product blend a good deal more and if you had lots of problem areas, you could make this work for daytime use this way.   On the third night, I used a combination of the two methods.  To be completely honest, I didn't notice a great deal of help - my spots did not resolve quickly and so on the fourth night, I used the CosRx acne circles on each spot and the next morning they were gone (I love those little things so much!).  I think that this particular product would work best for those with oily and acne prone skin as a product to swipe on the whole face regularly. I think with regular use it would really help treat problem areas, but this one is not for me!  I definitely did not notice any shine control, but I have dry skin, not oily.

I rarely give 5-heart reviews to any sheet mask - but this is my favorite sheet mask EVER in the history of the world (so far anyway).  I love absolutely everything about it and I will purchase enough of these to keep on hand for those times when I really need to hydrate my skin.   First of all, I have never used a sheet mask that fit my face as well as this one.  It was almost as if it were made for me.  The material the mask is made from is the perfect thickness too - thin enough that it completely adheres to your skin, but thick enough that it feels like it's really holding the essence in tight for extra benefit.  The essence is different than most - it's a very thick, creamy (egg cream!) texture that is perfect for my extremely dry skin.  You can keep this mask on for a very long time without it drying out completely (I left it on for about 45 minutes - it fit so well I kind of forgot it was on!) and either use that time to really rest and relax, or do things around the house.  The thickness of the essence also helps the mask stick so you really can do a lot of things while you're masking without it slipping around.  The essence itself is mostly odorless, if there is a scent I can't recall what it smelled like and white, there is a great amount on the mask.  Since it is so thick, it really sticks to the mask and there wasn't a lot left in the package, but enough to massage some into my neck and chest.  After removing the mask, I patted in the extra on my face (not much) and my skin was definitely more hydrated - plump and youthful looking.  I love it.  I'm going to buy more of these TODAY.

The little guy on the front of this package really makes me so happy that I was in a good mood before I even put the mask on!  I love brightening masks and tend to use them in the mornings when I'll be able to enjoy their effects.  This one contains Vitamin C which is also my morning serum, so I found this to be a great fit for me (actually the fit wasn't that great, but you know what I mean...)   This mask has a really nice fragrance (which I also like in the morning to help my mood) - it is a light, clean fragrance.  The fit is a little wonky on me, but certainly nothing terrible.  There was a good amount of essence on the mask and enough left over in the packet to use on my neck, shoulders and decollete.  After 20 minutes, the mask was quite dry, the essence was mostly absorbed and my skin looked brighter and refreshed.  I would definitely purchase this one again, if only to smile with the smiling bunny!

I adore this cleanser.  Really, really adore this one.  I use an oil-based cleanser every single night and this is one of my two favorite products.  The balm is a lovely white cream that looks a lot like coconut oil and has a similar texture - but not nearly as oily.  I love taking my time with this cleanser and really massaging it in to my skin.  It is gentle enough that I use it on my eyes and it completely dissolves my eye makeup.  Once I wipe this cleanser off my skin looks and feels so soft, hydrated and clean - it's amazing.  It does not have much of any fragrance and often, I hate to use another water-based cleanser after it because I love the way it makes my skin feel.   I got a small travel size of this product somewhere, and I have it tucked away to take on trips with me - but I constantly have to fight myself to save it for travel and not use it at home!

I really love this product - but I don't think I will purchase it.  My typical nighttime routine involves an oil cleanse, then a water-based cleanser.  After both of those steps, I use a micellar water to remove the remaining eye make-up and make sure my skin is super clean before starting with my toner and other products.  My morning routine simply involves using a micellar water to remove the remaining residue from my nighttime routine.   I used this A-true in place of micellar water - and it acted very similarly.  The product is one of the most beautifully packaged things I have ever seen.  It comes in a plain white box, and the bottle itself is very clean looking and uncluttered. I love that!  A very thorough information card comes with the product and it tells you about all of the wonderful ingredients contained in this product - mainly black tea.

My experience with this product was very good.  It does a great job of removing makeup, including eye makeup.  There are no harsh smells or other skin irritants.  It does exactly what it says it will do - without causing any harm.  But it's very expensive.  VERY expensive.  I will stick to the Garnier Micellar water in place of this as it works the same, costs much less and lasts much longer.

This is a product that is very popular - but that I really do not like at all.  The fragrance is extremely strong - and I can't quite place it, but I don't like it at all.  On the plus side, this is very much a "dry" oil, and I'm not sure how they manage that!  Once you apply it, it begins to feel almost powdery quite quickly and it absorbs extremely quickly.  I am not sure how people would best like to use this product - the fragrance is WAY too strong for me to apply to my face and it's not hydrating enough to apply to the body in my opinion.   I received a large bottle of this in one of my subscription boxes and immediately gave it away to a friend.  When I gave it to her I told her it was a perfume - that's how strong I find the fragrance!

This is exactly the type of product that I love to use daily.  My biggest skincare concerns are dryness and signs of aging (wrinkles and loss of elasticity) so for me, a retinol moisturizer plus firming sounded perfect and I was excited to try.  I love the packaging of this product - it looks a little bit clinical, which for some reason always makes me feel like a product will work better.  :)  This is a thick and rich cream, but it doesn't feel oil based to me, it feels much more like  a water based moisturizer in the way it absorbs completely and quite quickly.  When I wake the morning after using this, my skin really does look a bit more firm.  I haven't been using this very long, so that might just be my imagination.  Even if it is - I love everything about this product.  There is no noticeable scent that I can detect.  I dislike heavily scented facial products, so I think that is a huge plus.  It is highly moisturizing, but not greasy and it contains products that my skin needs such as Vitamin A (retinol).  For people with normal skin types, I would think that this rich cream would be ample for overnight use or to use like a sleeping pack.  For me, my skin is SO dry that I use this and then add some oils on top of it to give me more moisture.  I will continue to purchase and use this product, I find it to be very soothing and high quality.

Tony Moly

Delight Tint

I love lip tints - but I don't know why as I rarely wear them! Haha.  But that is a true statement.  I bought two of these, the red and the pink and I like both a great deal.  The first thing you notice is the cute heart shaped package, every time I pick one up, it makes me a little bit happier.  The tubes are HUGE for the price, and I have a feeling that I will never, ever have to buy another one (which might be bad for Tony Moly, but good for me!).  The second thing you notice right away is the fruity scent that I really enjoy.  It's not extremely synthetic smelling, it's just a nice, fruity scent.  You can apply this as a very light wash of color (one coat) or intensify the color a little bit by applying a second coat after the first has dried.  You still are not going to get an opaque lip look like you would with a lipstick, but it will definitely be more than a light watercolor wash of color.  In general, I like to use lip tints when I want it to look like I'm not wearing makeup - but I'm always wearing makeup.  The red is too striking for that casual, messy hair, bright eyed look, but the other color works quite well for this.  Quite simply, this is just one of those great products to keep in your treasure chest - to use for a little pick me up or a little brightening.  I do find it a bit drying, but I have extremely dry lips under every circumstance!  It's not uncomforable like some liquid matte lipsticks.

This product is just OK.  For great looking brows, I think that gel or cream type products (like Dipbrow) give much better coverage and I think that applying them with an angled brush gives a cleaner line that using pencils.  This pencil is quite hard in texture which means you either have to press hard to apply it, or you are applying it faintly and building up.  Neither of those methods works for me.  :)   I do like the shape of it and I find that the shape does a very good job of creating a natural looking brow and the starting point near your nose, but it is very hard to make the end of your brow look nice with this.  I will not purchase this one.

These lipsticks are very pretty to look at, but simply do not work very well. I have one (the peachy shade) and I was so excited to receive it.  Since I purchased it, I used it one time and wasn't very happy with it.  It does a great job of providing a very light wash of color that is very pretty on younger women.  For me, it didn't have the impact or the moisture I was looking for.  I found the product to be quite dry.  Overall, this is one of those types of products that is a fun gimmick, but doesn't have the power (quality) to stay around forever.  And while it doesn't smell awful, it tastes terrible.  It is a very chemically, plastic, fake taste.  I'm reallly not quite sure why there is all the hype about these lipsticks.

I like Holika Holika products in general so I was very excited to get this in a subscription box.  The packaging is SO cute and while large pores on my nose are not a huge problem for me, I definitely wanted to try this product!  The only other nose strips I have used in the past are Biore and while they work quite well, I just don't buy them (because this isn't a bad area for me).  The first step in this kit is designed to open the pores on your nose.  It is a very wet strips and it smells great.  There is a slight tingling sensation with it, but it definitely isn't painful. I couldnt' tell from the packaging how long I was supposed to leave it on, so I left it unitl it was mostly dry.  The second step in this kit is the step that is similar to the Biore, but you don't need to wet it first which I was happy for because it's always hard to tell if you have enough water or too much water.  The package stated that this step was to remain in place for 10-15 minutes.  It didn't feel sticky when I placed it on my nose, but with time, it stuck on a little bit.  Removing it was not nearly as bad as removing the Biore strips - those really hurt but this was not that bad.  Of course, I had to examine the strip and there was a small amount of grime on the strip, but again, not a problem area fo rme.  The final step is a moist strip that calms and soothes the skin.  This step felt really good and smelled nice too.  If you had just removed a bunch of sebum and blackheads from your pores, this step would be amazing.  Overall, I really liked this product. I don't think I will buy it again for me, but I will probably buy it for my daughter - and the packaging is just to cute!  Oh yeah, I like how the sections are perforated and you can tear them apart.  Clever mask!

This is a nice mask with a nice fragrance.  It does an OK job of hydrating and the fit is also mostly OK.  Unfortunately, while there is nothing wrong with this mask, there is nothing super right about it either.  It's average.  If you happen to receive one as a gift, you will find it to be a good-enough mask - but it won't stand out in your memory!

This is an amazing product that absorbs into your skin completely and instantly leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated.  As a nighttime serum, I find that it does a good job of helping other products to absorb as well and when I use it my skin looks quite good in the morning.  Having said that, I will not buy this product because it is extremely expensive and I think there are other products that do as good a job that do not cost as much, but when I get a sample of it, I use it and like it very much!

This is such a great product. I would consider this more of a clinical skincare type product to use when you have specific problems you want to heal, but let me back up.  I had heard so much on social media about Dr. Jart and Ceramidin, that I mostly just wanted to see what all of the fuss was about!  I received this in a Sephora Favorite's package, Soko to Tokyo and was so excited to see it.  I had just had a serious chemical peel, so I was being very selective about what I used.  This cream is very thick.  It takes a bit of time to massage it in to your skin completely - it's that thick!  For me, I LOVE creams that are this thick.  The fragrance is very mild and slightly clinical too.  I'm not sure if it's an herbal scent or something else, but it's not unpleansant at all.   Immediately after you apply it, your skin begins to feel more firm.  After most of my skin had peeled from the peel, I still had a ton of areas that were sensitive, so I used this cream mostly in those areas, but also all over before bed.  After just one night of use, those areas were no longer tender and the redness had gone down quite a lot. I feel as if this cream did a great deal of healing to my skin and I am eager to try the rest of the products in this line.  My husband has very sensitive skin and often has contact reactions to proucts - the next time he does, it's going to be Dr. Jart to the rescue!

I just received this product, so I haven't been using it for very long, but I really love this one.  First of all, the packaging is beautiful.  The color intantly makes you think of water, it's soothing and calming.  The frangrance is a bit strong, but it doesn't bother doesn't smell fake to me, it's a refreshing scent.  The cream is a combinations cream/gel type product, most similar to Belif's Aqua Bomb or Tarte's Rainforest moisturizer.  This is a daytime moisturizer for me (not nearly hydrating enough for nighttime use) but I do love that it absorbs quickly and completely and doesn't leave skin feeling greasy or sticky either.  More than anything, I'm happy to have this pretty jar on my counter and I am excited to keep using it!

Dr G

Pore Mask Peeling

I am reviewing this based on a deluxe sample that I used three times.   I don't think this product is reallly made for my skintype (dry and aging) but I figured I would share my thoughts anyway!  For those with oily skin, I think that this would be a great product.  It contains clay to help absorb oils and cleanse pores and an exfoliant.  You apply it like you would a mask, and as the product begins to dry you add water and massage.  I love massaging products because they help increase blood flow which always makes skin look better!  As you massage, dead skin and other bad things begin to ball up and you rinse them away.  Your face is left feeling extremely clean (in my case too clean!).  This product reminds me quite a bit of the Skin Inc. peeling mask, but I prefer that one as it doesn't feel as drying.

I do not usually have a problem with blackheads, but recently noticed that my pores looked very congested.  When I looked in a magnifying mirror, I could see lots of tiny little blackheads trying to start - and it made me sick.  SO, I ran out for this mask pack. I had used other Caolion products in the past and didn't like them, but I love self-heating products and knew I wanted something with charcoal, so this is the one I chose - and I am so glad I did!  The mask isn't sticky at all when you apply it.  It is a very creamy texture.  It heats only a little, and then I just left it on my face for some time.  When I wiped off the mask, my pores were spotless clear and my skin felt amazing - so soft and so clean. I will definitely keep this on hand for use when my pores need attention and love.  This is a great product!

A friend of mine told me about her experience with this mask, and since I already had it, I decided to try it right away to see if my experience was the same as hers - it was exactly the same.  I was so scared this mask was going to smell like tomatoes and that I would have to smell that for 20 minutes.  FOrtunately, it doesn't smell at all like tomatoes.  In fact, it doesn't have much a fragrance at all.  The fit and material are like all the other Nature's Republic masks - sort of thick material and it doesn't fit me very well - but both are fine and nothing to complain about.   Anyway, the mask is supposed to brighten and hydrate.  First things first - if you are going to use this mask, plan to use it at night.  This is definitely not a morning mask.  I didn't notice any brightening.  It might have been hydrating, but I don't really know - it was SOOO sticky, I had to wash it off right away.  There was no way I was going to be able to go about my normal routine with this sticky mess left on my face.  I was afraid I would stick to my pillow!  I think I have another one of these.  If I do, I don't think I will use it.  It's just too sticky.

I bought a large package of Nature Republic sheet masks on Amazon for a great price.  This was one of the included ones.  I find that ALL of the Natures Republic masks fit me about the same - too big in some places, sooo small in others, but it worked well enough and that's not the type of thing I'm likely to complain too much about.  On to the Bamboo mask - it was hydrating, it didn't leave my face sticky and overall worked fine.  Nothing special, nothing terrible - just average. I would definitely use it again, but I don't think I would go far out of my way to buy it again.

If you are looking for a whitening and brightening serum, this one is for you!  It works amazingly well - so well that I had to quit using it because it made my skin too light and none of my foundations were working any more.  :)  I will still use it, maybe once or twice a week - but not every day.  Of course, how often is it that you stop using products because they do exactly what they say they are going to do!!?!?  I do not like the fragrance of this one AT ALL, but to each their own.  I find it to be very flowery - but it does fade quickly. I have tried all of the Laneige products in this line - and I find that they all do exactly what they are supposed to, but this one is my favorite of them all.  You can't go wrong with this serum if you are looking for something to brighten and whiten!

I love the Benton brand, and I love many of their snail and aloe products - but I'm not sure why I don't like this one.  The cream is rich and hydrating, but it doesn't seem to absorb very well for me - and I have extremely dry skin.  Most products absorb almost the second I put them on, but this one just sits on the top of my skin for a very long time.  If you're looking for a snail mucin moisturizer, I stongly prefer the Mizon All In One cream to this one - although I will continue to buy other Benton products - I love their snail essence gel!

I really, really like this product - for me, it is much better than the BHA product alone.  I have used AHA/BHA for quite some time at least twice a week to help with removing dead skin cells and for their peeling effects. I have tried many different products and was using the Paula's Choice or Peter Thomas Roth product until I found this one.  In my opinion, this product if much more gentle than some other products - I find that it doesn't burn when I spray it on and I have been using it daily instead of only twice a week.  If you have very sensitive skin, i would definitely be careful because these are peeling ingredients.  The spray feels so refreshing and I like to use it at night, right after I have cleansed my skin.  I allow it to sit for a few seconds wet, then gently wipe it away with a cotton to help remove the dead skin cells.  After this, I move on to my toner and the next things that I plan to use...  I really like it and I will definitely continue to use this.

Please do not post - wrote on incorrect product.

There is simply no way I could love this product any more than I do.  It is amazing and I never want to live without it again in my life.  There are other first-step cleansers that I like as well, but this is a great one to start with, especially if you are new to double cleansing and have concerns about using an oil based cleanser.  This product doesn't have much of a scent at all (I consider that a good thing), and applies smoothly to your face.  Massaging it into your skin feels amazing - soft, but not at all oily.  Finally, when you rinse it off, your skin feels SO hydrated and plump, is so soft and feels really, really clean - without leaving a greasy residue at all.  I'm so happy that I received two small sizes of the All Clean Balm in K-beauty subscription boxes so that I can travel with it.   I will keep my small containers to refill over and over again - it's THAT good.  Just thinking about it makes me want to go home and wash my face....

I wanted to try this product after seeing so many YouTube videos about it and how wonderful it looked on people.  I also had tried the lip products from the same line which are fun, but a little gimicky.  I thought this would be the same, but I love when cosmetics work well and are fun to use.  I was a little nervous about pulling out eyebrow hairs with the product, especially since I need the product because my brows are sparse, but the videos made it look very easy and not sticky at all.  Well, I'm not sure what I did wrong that the people in the video did right, but this did not work for me at all.  It did get stuck in my eyebrows - all over the place and didn't peel off neatly like I have seen at all.  In fact, I couldn't get it out, so I had to wash it out of my eyebrows - and also washed off the tint when I did.  I decided that I want to give this to a friend to try - to see if it works better for them than it did for me - but I like all my friends too much to do that to.  Not for me, will not purchase again.

I agree with most of the other reviews completely.  If you have dry skin, this is not the best choice for you.  It does tend to ball up on my skin.  However, if you have oily skin and very visible pores, this product would probably do a great job of covering those.  I have millions of samples of this product from various subscription boxes, and the only time I use it is when I'm going to be wearing a LOT of makeup (like for a special event or something) and want to fill in some old acne scars.  Basically, I use it like you would use spackle to fill a hole in a wall.  Haha.  It's definitely NOT my go-to primer and while some people live for it, you will find much better options unless you are hoping to fill extremely visible pores.

I am wearing this today - but CC products are not enough coverage for me, so I'm using it sort of as a primer/concealer all in one and hoping that it will improve my skin. :)  This product offers better coverage than many CC creams that I have tried, but it definitely isn't thick at all.  It feels extremely hydrating when you use it and does a great job of evening skin tone and brightening.  For many people, this would probably be more than enough coverage and I do love the way it makes complexion appear dewy and soft.  It smells a tiny bit funny (like old lady) but the scent fades quickly.  If you are looking for a hydrating, brightening product to offer slightly more coverage than a BB cream, this would be a good product for you to try!

I wanted to love this - but it's just so-so.  If you are looking for a very sheer wash of color, and don't need it to be extremely precise, this is a good product for your lips. I couldn't apply this to my cheeks in any way that didn't make me look like a doll (not a cute look on a 40 year old!).  Hard to write a review on this product, because there just isn't that much to say - it works well enough, but it's nothing special. I like Peri's Ink MUCH more.

Peris Ink

I had wanted to try this particular product for a very long time.  The packaging is great, and for some reason, it just makes me happy.  The lovely ladies at Amabie sent me the product to try.  First of all, the packaging is exactly as cute at the photos.  It's a perfect palm-sized product, and mine is the bright red version.   I love bright red lips - especially when the weather gets cooler, so I was extremely excited to try this.   I expected this to have a similar appearance when applied that other tints and stains do - a very sheer wash of color that is cute and understated.  This is NOT that type of product.  The color is much more saturated than many tints and applies very much full color without any effort at all - the neat thing is that it feels as light as most tints while giving full-color coverage.  My daughter had a dance performance coming up and I decided to use this product on her lips because I hoped it would last longer than other lip colors.  It lasted through three stage performances without budging a bit and about 6 hours before there was any fading at all.  Love it!  Highly recommend. Now I want to try some of the more subtle colors for every day use.

I think this is a fun product to use once or twice, but it's kind of gimmicky and not something that I will continue to buy.  Pros - it does leave a beautiful stain on your lips that is soft-looking and long-lasting.

Cons - it tastes awful if you accidentally taste it, it's not very easy to use in that you have to be careful as you apply it so that you don't stain your face and your lips and it takes some time to dry.  I also have found that if you touch your lips together while it's wet, it peels off a bit and becomes hard to peel off cleanly.

Fun, not particularly useful.

I love all hydrating mists, but this one is great for sensitive skin because it's nothing but water.  I think it's important that people realize this - it's only water.  It doesn't pretend to be anything else, but sometimes I think people expect miracles from it.  No miracles - just a nice, refreshing hydrating burst of water to hydrate, cool and calm your skin.  I prefer some other hydrating mists that have added things - like Caudalie Beauty Elixir or L'Occitane Perfecting Mist (which smells of roses), but this is a great one for a quick pick-me-up.

Beauty Elixir

I love hydrating sprays in general, and this one is my absolute favorite.  I use it when I'm sleepy in the morning as a pick-me-up. I use it throughout the day to freshen up my makeup.  Occasionally, I will use it in the evening as a toner.  Always when I use it, I find that it is a refreshing, energizing mist with a very heavy herbal fragrance.  Like the previous reviewer, I love the scent as it reminds me of a spa, but if you do not care for heavy, herbal fragrances you may not like this one.  I've read lots of reviews from people that dislike the fragrance a great deal.  It's heavy on the rosemary.

I find this to be a very hydrating, energizing mist that boost my mood and my complexion any time I use it.

I tried this product with a friend.  She loved it, I hated it.  I think that I must have a sensitivity to something the product contains, because I found that it burned my face quite badly.  I do not have sensitive skin, so this was a surprise and not a reaction I've experienced before!  Like I said though, my friend who used it from the same container at the same time did not experience that and she loved it - said her face felt clean and fresh after she used it.  It's just not for me, but that's why I'm giving it three stars - I think my experience was not the norm.

I like this product very much and often use it as the first step in my cleansing.  The oil does a great job of emulsifying make-up and other dirt and then rinses off easily and completely.  It doesn't have a fragrance to speak of and leaves your skin feeling very hydrated, plump and soft.  I do think it's a bit on the expensive side, so I don't buy it all the time (I like the Garnier oil-based cleanser at least as well) but I use this one often and really think it does a great job.

I dislike everything about this cleanser.  First off, it smells like cucumber.  While I know a lot of people find that to be a refreshing scent, I don't care for it.  Secondly, this product does a terrible job at actually cleansing your skin.  It's gentle - so gentle that it leaves all of your make-up behind, almost like you never touched it.  This might be good for someone with very sensitive skin, but i find it to be exactly like the Philosophy Purity face wash.  After using this, cleanse your skin with micellar water on a cotton ball and you will see how much is left behind.  Be prepared to be grossed out!

Every day, twice a day.

This product is such a fantastic, gentle cleanser. It removes make-up completely while leaving your skin feeling fresh and hydrated, not dried out or tight at all.  At night, I use it after my two-step cleansing to remove any remaining residue before beginning my skincare routine.  In the morning, I usually use only this to remvove the previous night's skincare products without stripping the oils from my face.  I make my daughters use it too - because it makes cleaning your skin so easy.  It comes in two formulas.  The pink cap is the more gentle of the two - but I like them both.  I usually use the blue cap because I wear a LOT of eye make-up and it does a great job of removing that without rubbing or scrubbing.

This is THE BEST sunscreen I have ever used and I will use it every day forever and ever.  This is the one sunscreen I have found that makes it easy to use sunscreen on a daily basis.  It's THAT good.

In a typical morning, I apply a serum, a daytime moisturizer, this sunscreen and then a hydrating primer.  Even with all of that stuff, this product is light enough that it absorbs completely into my skin, does not leave a white residue and doesn't make my skin feel sticky or greasy.  It has a very faint fruity fragrance that disappears quickly and it slightly peach in color which helps prevent that awful white sunscreen face.

I can't speak highly enough of this product.  Buy it.   Buy two.

I have not been using this very long, but I like the texture of the product a great deal and it absorbs quickly and completely in to my skin.  I love the way my skin feels and looks immediately after use - it's plump, hydrated and dewy - and there isn't a sticky residue after use.  I cannot really comment on the whitening or brightening as I haven't used it long enough yet to say if it's doing that or not, but so far I am very impressed with the product's feel.

The one thing I do not like at all is the fragrance, and that's why I'm giving it a rating of 3.  It smells very much like an old lady - it's perfume-y but sort of musty at the same time.  It's hard to explain, but I don't like it at all.  Now, it's not bad enough that I won't use the rest of the product -  I definitely will - but i probably won't buy it again unless it makes my skin look like I'm 25 again.  :)

This was my first exposure to snail mucin products and I have to admit, I was afraid to begin using it and I did not know what to expect.  I was very plesantly surprised and I continue to use it several times a week.  It's a good moisturizing cream - it's enough to use alone for daytime for me, but I need more hydration than this alone at night.  I have noticed a very visible improvement in fine lines and I think it helps to brighten my skin overall.  This is a product that I will keep using becasue I find that it helps the overall appearance of my skin and the price is great.

You know how everyone you know always talks about how amazing and gentle this cleanser is?  That's becasue it doen't actually clean your skin.  I used this for months and raved about it - then one day, I noticed that a lot of makeup was on my cotton ball after applying my toner.  So I tested it a few times.  This product does a terrible job at cleansing skin and leaves behind TONS of makeup.  If you do a two-step cleansing process, it works OK, but you still need to follow with a Micellar water and you will still be disgusted by how much make-up is left on your skin.

If I happen to receive some of this in a subscription box, I will use it - but only in the morning when I'm not really trying to remove anything except a little bit of left-over product and/or to freshen up before I apply my day creams.  Don't believe me?  Give it try - wash your face with this product, use lots of it and clean until you think your skin is clean - then use a micellar water cleanser.  Gross.  No way.

This product is so wonderful.  I originally bought a sample because I loved the packaging and now I use it all the time.  I have no idea how a product can be so gentle and clean so deeply at the same time, but this Rice Enzyme Powder does just that.  It is ever so slightly exfoliating too!  Great all around cleanser - I use it as my second step after an oil-based cleanse and it leaves your skin feeling softer, brighter and very clean.  Love it.

I feel so differently about this mask than most of the other reviewers!  It must be me!  :)

I have very dry skin and this is not hydrating enough alone for me.  I like sleeping masks that are really thick, though - and this one is not.  Things I do like - it's lightweight and doesn't clog pores, it absorbs quickly and feels very silky when you apply it.  It definitely improves the appearance of your skin immediately.  Cons - THE FRAGRANCE - oh my gosh, it smells like grandmothers.  Very much and old lady scent - and because of that, I will not be buying it again.

I love sheet masks and like to try different ones often, but this is one I will definitely purchase again.  Why? I immediately noticed a very visible brightening effect that lasted and lasted...

The mask fit quite well, although I find that in general, masks made by Asian companies are much better than their American counterparts.  It was packed with lots of essence when I pulled it out of the package (enough that I was able to treat my decolletage and arms as well) and all of the essence absorbed very nicely into my skin leaving behind a firmer - and much brighter - face.  Very happy wtih this one and will definitely repurchase.

I don't know how Cosrx makes these little tiny acne miracle stickers, but they need to make sheet masks out of this stuff!  I have given packets of them to everyone I know with problem skin, and I'll be giving many more away at Christmas time.  Plus, with three kids in the house that are nearing puberty, I'm going to keep a few packets stored away for emergency use.

They are super easy to use - you simply peel off one sticker appropriately sized for your pimple, and place the patch on top.  The patch blends into your skin tone pretty well, so you could wear it during the day, but I prefer to put them on the blemish before bed.  When you wake in the morning, you simply remove the sticker and your pimple is miraculously gone - and nothing but a tiny red spot remains of the evil acne.

Be forewarned - the removed sticker contains all the gunk that was once marring your beautiful face - it's equal parts disgusting and amazing.  But the spot is GONE!

I have mixed feelings about this particular product, but I do like Belif products in general.  First of all, this is a gel/cream moisturizer which means it's pretty heavily water based which means it never feels greasy.  Unfortunately, of all the Belif products I have tried, this is probably my least favorite.  Get the eye cream though, it's amazing!

Why?  Well, I have very dry and aging skin.  I have been using this in the mornings, because it's not nearly enough hydration for nighttime for my skin.  Unfortunately, after wondering why I looked older than normal the past couple of days, I think it's because this is the only morning moisturizer that I've been using and it's simply not enough for my skin.

On the up side, it does absorb quickly and completely and it smells wonderful!  I think if you have oily skin and want a product that hydrates without lots of heavy oils, this would be a dream product for you.  I think this is the same product as Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea H2O.

I love this exfoliating wash-off mask from Skin Food.  The packaging is great, it's a good sized product for the price, and I love the simple design on the label.  I have to admit, I initially didn't think it would be as good as it is because I'm used to more complex and glossy packaging, but I was wrong.  The product works amazingly well and leaves skin feeling so soft and hydrated.  The exfoliant (the sugar) is pretty serious and it definitely does a good job of exfoliating.  The directions suggest leaving it on for a bit after exfoliating, and it smells so good that it's a pleasure to leave on - but it's a subtle fragrance, a little lemon-y.  The mask washes off very easily and your skin feels amazingly soft and refreshed.  I feel like it makes your other products work better too because you are using them on fresh skin!
