Review: Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask is a hydrating and brightening gel cream-type mask that doubles as a moisturizer.

.

Wow this is amazing 😍! I've tried a handful of other Klairs product, and this is definitely my favorite so far!! 💘

.

Ingredients💛

Niacinamide and vitamin E provides antioxidants to brighten and firm your skin. 💁🏻 Adenosine delivers anti-inflammatory and anti-wrinkle properties, while promoting collagen synthesis.

.

Shape Memory/Texture💜

My favorite feature of this product! It has a pudding/jelly texture, almost like a wiggling jello 🤗! The shape memory feature remembers the original form of the cream and goes back to it when you leave it alone!

.

Check out the pictures 📷! In the 2nd one, you can see I dug out a pretty nice chunk with my spatula. I took the 3rd one an hour later, and the cream returned to its original beautiful, smooth surface!! This feature helps the product adhere and absorb better into your skin. After application, my skin is moisturized but there's a certain comfortable tightness all around that feel like it's firming my skin! 😘👍🏻

.

Scent💚

There is a scent but it doesn't bother me at all! I'm not a huge fan of skin care products with fragrance, but this one is different! It smells very natural and calming-- a beautiful combination of lavender, orange 🍊 peel, eucalyptus 🌱 leaf, lemon 🍋 , and geranium oils 💕😊.

.

Effectiveness💙

So I use this only as a sleeping mask because it can get very sticky. (It still wears well under makeup during the day.) In the morning, I can tell that my skin looks brighter overall. I do have few spots that I wish this product helped lighten, but my spots have stayed pretty much the same. I'm hoping that with continued use, I'll see some difference.

.

  1. I'm sure I'll repurchase this once I run out 😸✨. You get 90 ml of product for $27. I'll start using my vitamin C serum with it and that'll obviously help with the effectiveness of this vitamin E product, as this cream was made to be extremely compatible 💞 with vitamin C.

MOGONG DODOOK BANBAN Pore Tightening ☀️ Day& 🌙 Night Cream is a customizable moisturizer that claims to brighten skin, tighten pores, reinforce skin elasticity, and supply moisture to your skin.

▫️

▫️

👍 The first thing I noticed was how huge this is! It reminded me of The Body Shop's body butter :) I noticed a very faint citrus smell (lemon?) that disappeared very quickly and did not bother me at all. There is also a spatula that stores nicely into the indentation of the inner, secondary lid.

▫️

▫️

❤️I love that it comes with two types of cream: gel cream for the a.m. for a pore tightening effect, and a thicker, creamier cream for the p.m. for extra moisture. The gel cream has the typical gel cream consistency that absorbed pretty easily into my t-zone, while the thicker cream took a little more work. The latter felt a little chunky, almost like hair wax, solid coconut oil, or putty. With a little heat from my fingertips, it smoothed out into a more manageable consistency. ▫️

▫️

🙌I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I thought it would be a plain moisturizer with nothing special and no noticeable difference after application. Initially, the product felt a little sticky on my skin and I went to bed wondering if I would be super greasy in the morning when I woke up. I didn't find that to be the case at all! My skin felt well 💦 moisturized, and my face tone had considerably ✨ brightened, interestingly enough. I am usually very skeptical of products that claim they will whiten/brighten, but for whatever reason, I had a really great result with this doing what it claimed it does, although I'm sure it was temporary. Only downside is that I didn't notice whether my pores tightened at all.

: Atopalm Intensive Moisturizing Cream is a paraben-free moisturizer for dry and sensitive skin, focused on soothing redness, dryness, and discomfort. . .

Pros 😽: 🔷Featured ingredient-- Atopalm's patented, plant-derived MLE (multi-lamellar emulsion) ingredient is a paraben-free formula that mimics the lipid layer of a healthy skin to help restore and retain moisture 💦. 🔷Other ingredients include 🌿 plant-derived ceramide, purslane extract, olive fruit oil, vitamin E, allantoin. 🔷Does not contain: parabens, ethanol, propylene glycol, mineral oil, phenoxyethanol, PEG, artificial fragrances, artificial colors. 🔷Safe to use for skin with dryness, sensitivity, and/or with skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. .

Cons 🤔: 🔷No spatula-- I guess I've just gotten so used to skin care products that come in tubs to have a spatula enclosed, so it was a surprise not to find one included. 🔷Scent-- Product has a light scent but it does dissipate quickly. . . I used the cream all over my face as the last step in my skin care routine at night 🛌🌛 for the past week. It definitely moisturized my drier areas nicely, as my skin felt soft and supple in the morning 🌞. My lesser dry parts of face (t-zone) were only slightly more shinier than my cheeks, so overall, my skin absorbed the cream very well ☺️. I also applied it to the back of my hands 🤚🏻 before bed because of some minor dryness, and that was gone by morning. I can't wait to continue using this cream as the weather gets colder 🌬❄️ and drier 🍂, as I'm hopeful for all the continued benefits of using the product 💕. .

Yadah Anti-T Mist claims to soothe and hydrate troubled skin with plant extracts, while maintaining skin's pH.

.

Ingredients include wintergreen leaf 🍃 extract, Camellia sinensis leaf extract, Rubus coreanus (Korean black raspberry) root extract, bergamot fruit oil. .

I've been using the mist since I got it this summer☀️. It's very relaxing because I love the bergamot oil fragrance that lingers ever so slightly. In terms of performance, I can't tell if it's doing any sebum control, but it does make my face feel refreshed and hydrated. The hydration doesn't last too long so I do need to layer with a lightweight moisturizer quickly before the mist dries up.

.

The spray bottle dispenses just the right dose of product, perfectly dispersed. Some sprays make me flinch when I spray because it comes out more as a stream than a fine, even spray, but this one's quite nice 💁🏻

.

Only thing is that it contains alcohol as the second ingredient after water, but it doesn't dry out my face so I've had no problems using the product.

Review: Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is the first anti-aging product by Klairs, featuring their popular guaiazulene ingredient and EGF. . . I was so excited to try this out! I have Klairs's midnight/midday blue line (guaiazulene) and I really liked them, so I had high hopes for this one too 😙. . One of the most impressive thing about this product is the ingredients list: only ten items on there and without any water 💦, unlike most serums and essences! The 95% raw materials ingredients list include EGF, blueberry extract, and guaiazulene, of course. The essence is a beautiful blue-colored product with no scent. The bottle seems pretty small (only 20 ml) which is less than any other serum I've owned, but that's understandable because it's supposed to be very concentrated . . When I first applied it, I kind of wasted some because of how quickly it ran down my cheeks! I've read about how watery this serum is but I didn't expect it to be that runny. So now, I apply this serum with my face completely parallel to the ceiling. . I love how quickly it absorbed into my skin 😽. This is the first time I felt like my skin just sucked up all the serum instead of it just sitting there for a few minutes. It's definitely not moisturizing nor hydrating, but I know that's not what it's supposed to do anyway. . Despite my excitement about the product/brand in general and all the rave reviews that I know this serum has received already, it wasn't the HG product (in terms of performance) that I thought it would be 😶. I didn't see nor feel any difference to my skin, and if I were to run out of the product, I don't think I would particularly miss it. Maybe my skin type wasn't the most ideal or maybe I needed to use the serum for several consecutive weeks to see any noticeable results. I'm glad I got to try it because I would've wondered what the hype was about, but I'm not sure if I would buy this for $30. I would definitely stick to the Midnight Blue Calming Cream if I'm looking for something from the line. .

Papa Recipe's 🐝 Bombee Honey Moist Emulsion is a hydrating, lightweight lotion good for dry, sensitive, irritated skin. .

. 🍯 Pros:

-No detectable sweet, honey scent: Most skin care products with honey as the featured ingredient smell overly sweet and of artificial honey fragrance. I was pleasantly surprised that this product had no distinctive smell!

-Very light moisturizer that absorbs quickly and easily into skin: I expected the emulsion to be a little bit tacky, but it glided across my cheeks very smoothly and made my skin soft!

-Small amount goes a long way: One pump was more than enough to cover my entire face, and I could have used even less for my a.m. skin routine. -Very good value: You get 150 ml for $16 retail price!

-Container and pump is very easy to dispense the appropriate amount.

-Ingredients include Queen's (queen bee's) multi complex, honey extract, Prunella Vulgaris Leaf Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Sage Leaf Extract, Green Tea Extract. .

. 🐝 Cons: (not really cons but just some things I wanted to mention!)

-Lightweight but not moisturizing enough to wear by itself: Upon initial application the product feels nice and moisturizing, but after a few minutes, I definitely felt like I needed to layer some cream on my cheeks to moisturize properly.

-Ingredient list: I felt like the royal jelly and propolis extract could have been higher up on the list; they are about seventh or eighth from the bottom. .

.

Overall, the product is a solid, reliable moisturizer that hydrates my dry cheeks well and doesn't make my slightly oily t-zone any oilier. I would very likely consider purchasing this once I run out!

Guerisson Horse Oil Hydrogel 24K Gold Mask is a luxury mask that contains German horse oil essence with 24K gold. It claims to calm and improve your skin troubles ( acne, scars, dark spots) while providing long lasting moisturization. .

.

I absolutely loved this luxurious hydrogel mask! It comes in two pieces that are wrapped separately for easy adjustment and application. Once you leave it on for few minutes, the mask stuck on my face like a second skin! Really love it when a mask hugs your face so perfectly like that!.

.

The mask has the right amount of essence to let the skin absorb without feeling sticky. The essence is low viscosity, lightweight texture that provided immediate moisture to my skin. I think the horse oil as the ingredient really made a difference in the way my skin felt because I still felt well nourished after several hours upon removal.

I was also impressed with its staying power because it didn't move while I had it for 40 minutes!.

.

🐴 Overall I really enjoyed using this mask so I would definitely repurchase this again. Although this can be used for all skin types, I would highly recommend to those with combination or dry skin! It can save your skin in the fall 🍁 and winter!❄️ .

.

Eleven Huesday De-Spot Luminosity is a dark spot serum that contains Tranexamic acid and Tetrapeptide 51 as a strong whitening agents to brighten dull skin.

.

Pros:

-light smooth texture, absorbs right into skin, non-sticky feel

-moisturizing without feeling greasy, but gives a nice dewy finish -Whitening ingredients; Tranexamic acid, Tetrapeptide 51, Chilbaksan

-7 herbal ingredients: White Portia Cocos Extract ( moisturizing, soothing, forming), Bletia Hyacinthina Bulb Extract (antioxidant), White Ginseng (skin protection, antioxidant, revitalizing), Atractylodes Japonica (melanin production, whitening), Sandalwood Extract (antioxidant, soothing, moisturizing)

-slight fruity scent (Tribulus Terrestris Fruit extract?)

-Comes with English instruction and ingredient list! . . . .

Cons: -the fruity scent if you prefer non-scented - Expires 6 month after opening so use it quickly!

-Not recommended for oily skin

.

I absolutely loved this product! It's non-drying, light, good absorption, moisturizing, and the light scent was pleasant! I could not see any visible results from using this for about a week but did not breakout my skin. If you're worried about your dark spots and want brighter skin, I highly recommend this for your daily skin routine! .

Pureheals Centella Reviving Toner is made with Centella extracts that is good for repairing damaged skin. It contains BHA and AHA to smooth out the texture of your skin. Good for all skin types except sensitive.

Pros:

-Skin beneficial ingredients; Centella, aloe, squalane

-AHA and BHA to remove dead skin cells for smoother skin

- Good for whitening and anti wrinkle treatment. - Herbal scent ( Eucalyptus)

- refreshing and cooling

-glass container is pretty and very easy to pour the toner on a cotton pad

Cons:

-slight tingling sensation. -not very hydrating because of the alcohol as part of the ingredients. - skin did not feel well prepped to absorb other skincare products afterward.  Overall I liked using this toner only for my T-zones because it did not feel very moisturizing and felt slightly tingling like their ampoule. I would probably not recommend this for dry or sensitive skin for that reason. It might be good to use this just for the summer.

PureHeals's Centella 90 Ampoule is a soothing ampoule with 90% Centella Asiatica that calms down redness and stressed out skin.

Pros:

-glass dropper is easy to dispense

-green glass bottle is very pretty

-scent was very natural/herbal (eucalyptus/tea tree oil?)

-great nourishing and healing ingredients like squalane, arginine, aloe, propolis, chamomile

Cons:

-everything on the box is written in Korean and French, so if you read neither of these language (which I don't), you'll have to look up ingredients online

-contains alcohol that makes my skin feels little bit dehydrated and stings/tingles

-gel-like consistency is thick and leaves skin feeling sticky

-can be slightly drying for combination skin like mine: after using the ampoule for 3 days, twice daily, my chin started flaking

-would not recommend for those with dry and/or sensitive

I used it on and off for about a week and could see no visible results, which is obvious because I could only use it for about a week until my time was up. I couldn't feel any difference either, unfortunately. I had a lot of high hopes because their website had plenty of infographics that touted the ampoule's amazing benefits and results, but sadly, I didn't feel the same way with the product. For $33 for the bottle (30ml/1oz), it's not really expensive, but I don't think I would repurchase at retail price.

REVIEW:  A. By Bom 2 Step Ultra Floral Leaf mask.  This is a luxurious two step mask that contains two floral leaf patches + a sheet mask. The floral leaf patch is designed to give you that extra moisture concentrate on desired parts of your face. It can be applied on your forehead, under eyes, cheek, neckline, jawline or décolletage. After putting the patches, you can apply the sheet mask over them for double masking experience!! 😊. 🌺 The mask is soaked with plenty of serum that contains plant and herbal extracts. Thanks to the generous amount of its high viscous essence, the mask adhered perfectly to seal in all the moisture on my skin. .

💦 I can't say enough about the hydration of this mask! After leaving it on for 20 minutes, my face just looked super dewy and intensely moisturized! I usually put cream after masks but it didn't feel like I needed to! 😊 . 🌺 The mask has a pleasant floral scent that wasn't overpowering so it didn't bother me at all. Because I enjoyed this so much , I would love to try the green leaf 🍃 version of this line as well!!! ⭐️ Can be purchased @shopamabie ! 🙏

REVIEW: I'm From Ginseng Serum is an antiaging serum that is great for people with dry, malnourished, and mature skin. The serum contains 7.98% ginseng extract which claims to boost blood circulation that will rejuvenate and nourish the skin while improving elasticity and wrinkles.

.

🌳I had been eyeing on this product for awhile so I was so happy when I saw 08L offering this to try! First of all, I love anything that has ginseng! I have a poor blood circulation so taking ginseng seems to make me feel better. .

🌳Ginseng has amazing antiaging benefits so I love that this serum contains ginseng as the second ingredient! Then there are ginseng seed oil (1,000ppm), licorice root, hyaluronic acid, and other herbal extracts that makes this product even more powerful for those that are looking for good quality serum. There is a strong ginseng and licorice root scent at first but it does go away once you apply. The serum is lightweight with low viscosity so the absorption was good without any stickiness, and it was easy to dispense with the dropper. I have been using this for about a week now and so far have not seen any significant changes but it does feel moisturizing and nourishing!.

.

🌳The only thing that bothered me was that it did not say on the packaging how soon this product will expire once it's opened. Seeing that most of my serums have 6 months after opening, it's best to assume that this will expire 6 months from now. If you are a fan of ginseng or are looking for antiaging serum, then this might be the product for you!.

Review:

Pureheals 🌿Centella 70 Cream claims to regenerate skin with 70% Centella Asiatica extract to improve, nourish, strengthen, whiten, and protect your skin. •

🌿Pros:

-rich cream with good absorption, non-sticky or greasy.

-contains Centella as the first ingredient, and sodium hyaluronate with herbal and plant extracts (aloe, jojoba oil, evening primrose, camellia leaf, squalane, shea butter, etc). -cooling menthol like scent/feel -great for calming irritated skin

-pore tightening? -beautiful glass container.

🌿Cons:

-no ingredients listed on the product

-doesn't contain mini spatula.

🍃I have been using this as a last step of my skincare routine and so far I'm loving it. This cream has a rich texture but once applied it absorbed into my skin quickly. Gives cool, refreshing feel like a medicated rub without all the stickiness/greasiness. I like using this during summertime for that refreshing feel to control sebum production and calm down my skin. I think it's great for combination, oily/irritated skin if you don't mind the menthol scent or alcohol. The only complaint is that it should have came with a mini spatula like most Kbeauty creams do. •

REVIEW: 💦

Atopalm Real Barrier Extreme Cream features MLE (Multi-Lamellar Emulsion) patented technology that mimics the lipid layer of skin. Its benefits include instant skin relief, hydration, and smoothing effects.

.

.

💦 Pros:

-proven 72-hr hydration and skin barrier improvement

-ingredients include special patented technology complexes, ceramide, panthenol, allantoin

-recommended for dry, sensitive, itchy, and/or irritated skin

-come with spatula.

.

💦 Cons:

-not recommended in humid conditions or if you have oily skin

-includes lavender and orange oils if your skin is sensitive to fragrance oils.

.

.

The cream felt very soothing on my skin. Initially, it felt thick and slightly goopy when I scooped some up with the enclosed spatula, but it spread and absorbed very easily onto my skin. Although I don't know if the hydration lasts 72 hours, in the morning my skin felt very plump and well-moisturized without it being greasy. I'm sure this will become very handy in the fall and winter when I get dry patches around my nose and cheeks where it flakes and becomes itchy the most. .

.

Mini Review: 🍯 OMG I'm loving Skinfood's Black Sugar Honey Mask Wash Off! I've never tried anything from @skinfood_official before so I didn't know what to expect, but it's now become one of my favorite products! .

.

🍯 It left my face super soft and hydrated, without feeling slick or appearing too shiny. Immediately after using the mask and even in the morning, I noticed how bright my face looked and without the usual redness on my cheeks and around my nose! I will very likely purchase this once it runs out. .

.

🍯 The only thing that might bother some people is that the sweet, honey scent lingers for quite a while, even after washing the mask off completely. It didn't bother me at all! .

.

.

.

Review: NoTS Deep Water 💦 Wrapping Mask is a two piece mask that contains sea water to provide deep hydration for your skin.

.

.

💦 The ingredients: high content of sea water along with hyaluronate, arginine, aloe leaf extract to name a few.

.

.

💦 It was my first time trying a two piece masks and I have to say I really loved it! It was much easier to apply-—each piece came with films to prevent from sticking — compared to other masks I've used. It has a light fragrance kind of like the sea breeze? The liquid essence was not drippy, just the right amount to be absorbed on to my skin. The fit was great with little or no air bubbles. Nice and smooth adhesion.

.

.

💦 After leaving it on for 20 minutes, my skin felt really hydrated, refreshed. It gave a light dewy finish to my skin without the overly wet or greasy feel. I think this is a great mask if you feel like you're lacking that moisture and want instant hydration. It contains 5 masks for $25 so it is a bit pricey but does a good job! I would probably buy this if it's on sale! .

Review: Klairs ☀️Mid-Day Blue Sun Lotion SPF 40 PA++

● 🌤I'm glad I got to try this product, as I've read reviews raving about the product and really like Klairs Midnight 🌙 Blue Calming Cream. For $20, you get 1.7 oz of product, so it's more affordable than some other sunscreens out there, but unfortunately, I don't think I would repurchase this at retail price.

⛅️I would only wear a PA++ sunscreen when I know I'm going to be indoors all day long, so I don't see myself reaching for this item very often, as I've got other sunscreens with PA+++/PA++++. I don't think it provided a "shine-free finish" as the product claimed. Immediately after application, my combination skin looked rather greasy and I had to blot with a tissue to take off the excess oil. My T-zone usually starts to get shiny by late afternoon, but with this sun lotion, I found myself reaching for a blotting paper by around noon. ●

🦋The blue tint did seem to help alleviate the slight redness on my cheeks when I applied it, but my foundation already does a pretty great job at covering up my redness anyway. I was disappointed to find out that guaiazulene (the plant extract responsible for the name "Blue Sun Lotion," known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory property) is the second to last ingredient; I would've expected it to the higher up in the ingredient list. The sunscreen does, however, include additional beneficial ingredients such as arginine, sodium hyaluronate, panthenol, ginger root extract, centella extract. ●

🐳 I thought the "waterful texture" would mean I was getting a sunscreen similar to Biore 💦Watery Essence sunscreen, but I was disappointed to find out that it's actually very different: thick, white, and definitely not "fast-absorbing"-- should have realized that one as the product is a "lotion," not essence or gel. I have a light-medium skin tone but I could see some white cast after application, and even after waiting for about twenty minutes, my face still looked too pale.

Missha Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask Acai Berry is a woven cell sheet mask that contains acai berry essence and naturally derived ingredients that are double fermented to nourish and revitalize skin.

This was my first time using a sheet mask from Missha and I have to say I loved it! The mask is soaked with abundant fermented essence that instantly hydrated my skin. The essence has milky consistency with a light fragrance of the Acai berry. After leaving it on for 20 minutes my skin felt soft and moisturized without feeling overly sticky. I would recommend this if you love sheet masks.

I love Cosrx's Acne Pimple Master Patch! Each re-seable, zippered pouch includes 24 patches that come in 3 different sizes. (The biggest size was always too big for me, so I cut them in half so I could get two uses out of a single large-size patch!) •.

.

I really liked the idea of the patch absorbing the pus out of my pimple overnight (or during the day), so I tried it on all different types of acne: some red, some bumpy whiteheads, some pustules, some cystic, because I'm somehow super lucky enough to experience all kinds. The ones that I could notice the most difference was on my pustules that had been popped accidentally (after cleansing where I wasn't gentle enough, sadly.) I put on the patch immediately after drying my face off, and it stayed in place through my other five skin care products that I layered! In the morning, I saw absolutely no change to my red/bumpy acnes, but the one pustule pimple (that I accidentally popped) saw a noticeable difference: the swelling had gone down and just by looking at the patch, I could see some white stuff that had oozed out from my pimple! Very satisfying haha.

•.

I was initially pretty skeptical of acne patches because I've tried the ones from Peter Thomas Roth (before I really started trying all kinds of Kbeauty), and I didn't have much success with it, unfortunately. And although I only use these patches about twice a week at most (so still plenty left), I would definitely repurchase because they do work (for certain acne, at least) and because they are affordable!

Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream is an excellent moisturizer for angry, irritated, blotchy skin like mine. I have occasional blemishes which sometimes turn into inflamed clusters of nightmarish acne, where typical acne products seem to do more harm than good. The Blue Calming Cream does exactly what the name says: it calms my redness down and seems to reduce the size of my inflammation. The cream is a beautiful light blue color, which comes from a plant-derived ingredient, guaizulene. I can detect no noticeable smell, and I love the texture. It feels rich and luxurious but not greasy, and it is absorbed well, even on my oily t-zone. I also like to apply on the sides of my nose since the skin around it is always red and slightly tingling, and the blue cream helps calm down that redness and itchineess. I would recommend this to anyone who has slightly acneic skin or sensitive, itchy skin, as it does a good job of doing exactly what the name suggests.
