The serum is a clear, almost gel-like consistency out of the bottle, but becomes very watery and easily spreadable once applied on the face. It absorbs very quickly into the skin; I can apply it to one side of my face first before the other, and the first half already dries before I finished the second half. The only thing I didn't really like about the serum was how little product was dispensed when I used the pump, although I'm not sure if this design issue only applies to the travel size. The amount of serum dispensed covers about 85% of my face and just isn't quite enough and I'll need two pumps. The hydration on this serum is decent but isn't suoer hydrating for dry skin types. I received a travel sized version of the 23.5N Bamboo Ultra Hydrating Serum as part of a giveaway, in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.

The toner is slightly thicker than water, but still has a pretty watery consistency that works with a cotton pad if you so prefer. I really like that it doesn't have any added fragrance. I still like to apply toners with my hands if possible and this one is very buildable for extra hydration. Compared to other toners, I think this one performs okay, dries fast, but isn't super hydrating and I prefer something with a bit more hydration, and would rate this about a 2.5/5.  I received a travel sized version of the 23.5N Bamboo Ultra Hydrating Toner as part of a giveaway, in exchange for my review. The first time I tried this product, I used the basic skincare instruction on the jar, which says to apply a small pea-sized amount on the face and let it absorb in. I used it after the toner and serum from the same line and it made my skin feel tight and uncomfortable. The second time I used the set, I used the special instruction, which says to put a generous layer of the gel mask on your cleansed face, leave it for 20 minutes, then wash it out and move on with the rest of your routine. Using this method, I loved the mask so much more. My skin felt very soft and hydrated after the mask, and I followed it up with the toner and serum. I definitely recommend using this as a mask and not a cream. I received a travel sized version of the 23.5N Bamboo Ultra Hydrating Gel Mask as part of a giveaway, in exchange for my review.
